Hi – I’m Jen! I am a young professional working for a local insurance brokerage firm doing Health & Benefits Consulting for companies. I am looking for a fun way to earn some extra money. I love kids and decided to try Urban Sitter. I grew up with a younger brother & sister (twins), as well as many younger cousins. My first job was babysitting family and neighbors. In high school I became a nanny for 3 elementary aged girls. My most recent experience has been with newborns/toddlers. I have a 6 year old niece and a 3 year old nephew, who I am very close with (they would give me rave reviews). I also have friends who are new parents. I enjoy playing with kids, doing crafts, being creative and if the weather is nice heading outdoors. I would be more than happy to help with homework and/or tutoring as well. I look forward to meeting you and your kids! ***Depending on location/date/time I may require a minimum of 4 hours for bookings. Thank you in advance for your understanding!***

I have over 17 years in both Elementary Teaching and Early Childhood Education. I miss the chance to use the skills learned over years while I am currently at home. I am kind, positive, and set expectations and boundaries where needed. I take the natural opportunities to teach interpersonal and problem solving skills, as well as academic skills. I have many years experience working with ages newborn and up. I taught Early Childhood, 2nd and 4th grades. I've created childcare worker training for a previous job that did not have any and have taken CPR/First Aid/Universal Precautions trainings many times as well as car seat trainings. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I do not smoke anything at all, do not use any kind of drug & have a clean driving record. I take the responsibility of your child's safety and care very seriously. I will work to protect them physically and with what they are exposed to on tv, social media or otherwise. I am flexible and don't get rattled easily. The first year of my sons life was my favorite, though I find great joys with all ages. I have worked with a variety of special needs. You can look at the "Professional Teaching Experience" section on my resume to see my formal experience (feel free to ask for that). I've babysat since I was in 7th grade and worked in church nurseries prior to that. I am married with one child and like to move and be outside when I can. You are welcome to ask any questions of me as it is important to know who your children are spending time with. Kiersten

Hello! My name is Emily and I moved (with my pup!) to New England in 2023 to pursue new opportunities in my personal and professional life. During the day, I work for the local public school system as an Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, which means I get to work with variety of students, across a variety of ages. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in traditional preschool, Montessori, and K-12. My experience with children of all abilities ranges from toddlers to high school, and I enjoy working with them and creating meaningful relationships through mutual respect, open communication, and good-hearted silliness and play.

Hi y'all! My name is Daniel, and I am a 23-year-old recent graduate. I graduated in December 2024 from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Mathematics, with an emphasis in Middle School Education. A native Coloradan, I relocated to Los Angeles in January of this year and moved in with my long-term girlfriend, who was attending SCA at USC (she graduated this spring semester, yay!). My life and professional experiences have given me the tools and knowledge necessary to provide childcare and household services. I am also open to providing other services. I own (2022 Corolla) and am able to operate a car. I am also great with technology, speak fluent Spanish, and am even willing to offer math tutoring. More info about me below :) As I mentioned earlier, my degree is in middle school math education. Throughout my university program, I completed clinical practices within middle school classrooms and one high school classroom. In the fall semester of 2024, I completed my student-teaching practice, which I credit as my most impactful learning experience in terms of classroom management, pedagogy, and generally aiding kids. I received my initial teaching licensure from the state of Colorado. In Los Angeles, I have done limited substitute work after a lengthy process to transfer my credentials. Although limited in work, I have had the opportunity to work with younger students as I have substituted for first-grade classes and an after-school program that served first- and second-graders. Aside from my teaching experience, I am also a HUGE 'girl-uncle'. I have four nieces and 2 nephews in total, but the youngest are my three nieces. The 11 y/o I babysat weekly during summers in middle and high school when she was a toddler and kid. During the school year, I would watch her after school for a couple of hours before my brother could pick her up after work. The next youngest girls, 4 y/o and 1.5 y/o, I have also babysat in some capacity, but less as I was in college and I have since moved out of state.
Nurturing young minds is more than a job: its my passion. With over 20 years experience, I offer attentive individualized care to all children. My graduate degree, coupled with Early Child Development coursework and certification as a teacher provides me with a strong foundation. I am patient and calm and I enjoy engaging children with board games and read aloud books. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules. I maintain open communication with parents following their preferred method to keep them informed. I am also certified in First Aide Training and CPR Training. Beyond childcare, I am happy to help with cooking , meal preparation and light house keeping. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and dedication to your family,

I have 3 years professional experience workjng with special needs children and 8 years experience in a wide veriert of settings working with other kids of all ages. All of my workover the years has been in the Denver Metro area, aside from working at a nursing home in Loveland with the elderly. Hi, I’m Chelsea! I’m a reliable, kind-hearted caregiver with years of hands-on experience caring for children and pets. With two boys of my own, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust to keep your children safe, happy, and cared for. I’m available for evenings and weekends, including date nights — whether you need a quiet dinner out, time to run errands, or extra help. My boys do not come with me when I work with families, which means your child always has my full attention while you’re away. My approach is loving, calm, and flexible — but also fun and a little silly when the moment calls for it! I enjoy making kids laugh, being playful, and turning everyday moments into positive experiences. I love planning age-appropriate activities and am just as comfortable helping with meals, light tidying, homework, and bedtime routines as I am reading stories, crafting, and playing games. I’m also pet-friendly and have experience caring for family pets, plus I have a cat of my own named Gizmo who keeps life entertaining! Families describe me as dependable, consistent, and easy to work with. My goal isn’t just to “watch” your child — it’s to give you peace of mind and make your child’s time enjoyable. I’d love the opportunity to connect and learn how I can support your family, and I’m happy to provide excellent references upon request following a phone interview.
