Hello, I am Felicia! I’m a compassionate, dependable caregiver with several years of hands-on experience supporting children, seniors, pets, and households. My background includes working as a teacher, camp counselor, and tutor, which has given me a strong foundation in child development, patience, and creating safe, engaging environments. I am equally comfortable providing care for elderly individuals and have been specifically requested for senior support due to my reliability, attentiveness, and respectful approach. Child Care I have experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. I enjoy creating structured yet fun routines that include educational activities, creative play, and outdoor time. I love engaging children through reading, arts and crafts, dancing, painting, and age-appropriate games. I also offer tutoring and homework support and am comfortable preparing meals and helping maintain daily routines. Senior Care I have provided non-medical senior care focused on companionship, safety, and daily support. My experience includes assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and offering meaningful conversation and emotional support. I truly enjoy senior care because I value building trust, listening to life stories, and helping individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. Pet Care I have experience caring for a variety of pets and breeds and have been trusted with pet sitting and dog walking. I am comfortable with animals of all sizes, including those that shed. My services include walking, feeding, playtime, basic care routines, and ensuring pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. Household Services I have experience with house sitting and general household support, including light cleaning, laundry, organizing, cooking, and running errands. I prefer to use your cleaning supplies and equipment and I will always treat homes with care and respect. I am reliable, communicative, and genuinely enjoy supporting families and individuals in meaningful ways. I look forward to providing dependable, thoughtful care you can trust.
Hello Parents, My name is Lois and I love taking care of children! I'm a native New Yorker, but have come to call San Diego home for many years now! Why hire me? Years before obtaining my bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, I had acquired 30 units in Early Childhood Development. I had received a Family Support Specialist certification. I was a foster mom for five years. The first two years I received "my babies" directly from the hospital! I had toddlers through thirteen years old in my care. For approximately 1.5 years I worked for the Sweetwater Union High School District, including middle school. I helped to facilitate small groups of five children with their reading comprehension. I find tutoring children to be very satisfying, especially during the times I was able to bring children's grades back up to speed; grade level. The greatest compliment I ever received was given to me by a fourth grade child who said to me "Miss Lois, you inspire me!! While new to Urbansitter, I have a 5 star rating from another platform! I'm available during the daytime hours, Monday - Friday. I am interested in working 15-25 hours per week and prefer being paid in cash. I look forward to hearing from you! Warm regards, [removed].
