Hello, my name is Micah. I am a 23 year old recent JBU graduate and I majored in Family and Human services. I love being with kids, and am passionate about allowing them to be playful, explorative, and curious. I love doing crafts, playing outside, and having dance parties with kids. I have been CPR certified in the past as I used to be a lifeguard. The certification is technically expired but I feel confident in my skills to perform CPR/Heimlich if necessary. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old- ages 6 months to middle school. I also worked at a summer camp for three summers during college, which gave me a lot of experience with young kids as well as high schoolers. I am able to drive kids anywhere needed. I can also run errands for people, clean/do laundry, cook, and pet sit dogs and cats if needed!

I am a 24-year-old lifelong learner that has found my passion as a stay-at-home mom of a wonderful 5-month-old Margot. My wonderful husband is a PE teacher and also coaches freshman basketball in a local public school system. My passion for kids, began in my early teens. I volunteered to babysit kids from our church, ages 3 through 10. I have volunteered several rotations in our church nursery on Sunday's loving on sweet babies from birth to one year in age. In high school, I was very involved in the youth group at our church, leading students from 5 to 13. During my time in high school, I joined my church and traveled nationally supporting a focus on inter-city evangelism. I studied ballet for 6 years and mentored the younger students at every opportunity. After graduating high school in December '17, I traveled internationally to multiple countries to teach the Gospel to schools (both elementary and secondary) with GX International, a division of YWAM. This mission focused on bring the gospel to both public and private school students trough street dance evangelism. If you choose me as your nanny, I will focus on daily activities that involve learning, fun, and growth while seeking good routine. Altogether, it would be my joy to invest in your little one as I do my own.
