I'd describe myself as calm, I'm patient, and self less. I enjoy taking care of children, because kids are fun, they always have something funny or "out of the blue" to say, they carefree and just enjoy life. There's always something one can learn from a child, they are the best humans to take care of and even spend time with. I am looking for a healthy environment as a working space. Where communication can flow easily, critics are well understood. And clear expectations from both family and myself I started working with kids when I was a teenager, I have 10year experience. I was an au pair for the past year. In my spare time, I either watch television or read a book. I take pride in all the kids I watch because at the it is a reflection of me too. And I am currently taking a Montessori course, to improve my childcare skills My patience for kids is my number one and best skill. I very attentive and always at the top of my feet. The child is the biggest priority

“Charlene is a wonderful sitter/nanny! She arrives promptly. She does an amazing job with our little one. We’re so blessed to receive her childcare services!”

Booked by 1 family in Alamo, CA

Hello! I’m Kelcie, a 33 yr old wife and mom to a 2.5yr baby girl. I have been a nanny and family assistant for over 7 years. I currently live in Concord but I grew up in Alameda. Ive worked for multiple nanny agencies and pride myself on being collaborative with families. I’m patient, empathetic and caring. I love getting kids involved in fun activities like at-home DIYs but also make sure to get outside to soak up some vitamin D! In my free time, I love going to Lake Tahoe with my family or traveling to small towns to explore. I love to go camping, being with friends and family, listening to music and reading a good book (The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom, amazing read!). I look forward to meeting you and hope to make your family’s life more convenient!

“We have been so impressed with Kelcie! She always arrives on time with a smile on her face and has proven to be reliable, flexible, and honest. It’s refeshing to have a sitter/nanny who has really good common sense, it certainly helps me feel comfortable leaving my kids in her care!”

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in Alamo, CA

Hi, my name is Kristen, and I'm 25 years old. My experience with children includes working as a special education assistant at preschools and elementary schools since 2018, and nannying occasionally for families. I have a childlike spirit, and love planning fun themed activity days with the kids, arts and crafts, dancing to Disney soundtracks, and going on field trips to parks and museums! I love curling up in cozy corners at the library, where the kids and I can learn about animals, caring for our environment, outer space, and ancient history together! Another big hobby of mine is video and board games, so I would love to have game nights with the kids after they do their homework! :) I was encouraged to nanny because of my mindfulness and gentleness with kids. I care greatly about listening openly to children and their needs, instead of using a strict, disciplinary approach. I am good at soothing intense emotions and handling chaotic situations in a calm, gentle, and compassionate manner. I'm looking forward to meeting you, your kids, and your pets!! Thank you for your time! <3

Hey, My name is Pride, and I'd love to be considered for your nanny position. I've been a childcare provider for 14 years and am a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, CPR/First Aid trained, and I also hold a diploma as an English teacher. I've spent much of my career caring for infants and young children, and I genuinely love supporting their growth and development. I provide a warm, patient, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and heard. I enjoy reading, singing, painting, and creative activities that encourage learning through play. My experience has taught me to be dependable, thoughtful, compassionate, and calm. I'd love the opportunity to learn more about your family and hope to hear from you. Thank you for your time! As a doula, I support families before and after birth, strengthening my patience, communication, and understanding of each child's unique needs. I would be honored to care for your little one and support your family.

“Pontsho (also called Pride) has been a godsend! My kids are 10yo and 12yo boys and we all felt really connected to Pride when we first met. Out of all the sitters we interviewed, my kids requested her above anyone else. And she's been just wonderful! She plays all-day-long games of Monopoly, takes the kids on long walks to playgrounds, reads stories, plays games, hangs out doing crafts and chatting, makes them lunch ... My kids are visiting their dad so i'm not around, but they call me every day and they're just really content and happy. It was hard to find someone from a distance and only meet her over FaceTime! But Pride's references were amazing and I can see why. Knowing that I can feel safe and comfortable from a distance is priceless.”

Decades as a preschool teacher across the SF Bay Área working with ages 0 to 7, focused on Spanish-immersion and play-based care that supports emotional and developmental growth.

“Leyla is a true gem. She used to be a daycare teacher and has been our nanny -- both individual and as part of a share -- for the past 9 months. She's been such an attentive and sweet caretaker who sings to the babies, helps with their food prep, and plays with them all day. In addition, she sends detailed summaries of what/how much the babies ate/drank during the day and their nap schedules. She can easily handle two little ones (even taking them to the park!) and is extremely reliable. She's originally from Peru and is also a skilled cook. We miss her already.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
