Eight years in PE, another 18 high school level with kids with mild disabilities i.e. ADD etc.. the last eight years I have worked with Mod to severe disabled young adults and children. I also have tutored students with math up to Trig and Reading, including recovery. I am very confident to work with any age ,any issue ,any child. I love children. I am the youngest of five. I have been babysitting since I was 11 and I would love to have the opportunity to help out. I also have cared for my mother and other aging adults and feel very confident with senior care as well, including housekeeping, errands, grocery runs, etc..thanks for your consideration😀

“Darla was a very good child care specialist , we had her come for a 2 hr interview and she immediately jumped into it with the kids helping get them through dinner and bedtime routine with ease. We will definitely be using her in the future and recommend her for any families who need an occasional pitch hitter grandma.”

Katelynn $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Kate! I currently run my own business from home and I am looking to fill some extra time doing what I love most, which is caring for and nurturing children. I have spent over ten years working with kids of all ages, and it is something I am truly passionate about. I believe this next chapter in my life will be focused on supporting healthy development in children and helping families find calm and consistency during the sometimes chaotic stages of raising little ones. I am also getting ready to start a family of my own, so I look forward to learning and growing even more along the way. Most recently, I worked at SLOCA’s Wonders program as the assistant director, where I helped create a warm and playful environment that supported children emotionally, socially, and creatively. I bring a calm, grounded presence and a gentle, intuitive approach to caregiving that helps children feel safe, seen, and comfortable being themselves. I have a new 5-star safety rated vehicle and a clean driving record. I am Infant and Child CPR certified and have more than fifteen units of Early Childhood Education. I am also very comfortable caring for children with special needs or in situations that require flexibility and extra understanding. Cant wait to meet you and your family!!

Hannah $21 per hour for 1 child

I love being a caregiver to children, although this is the first time I am switching careers for it! I am able to play outside, get creative for playtime and problem solving, and I have boundless patience for homework help. I believe in treating children with kindness, even while disciplining them or declining their requests. I am happy to do additional tasks to help out the home, such as grocery shopping, housekeeping chores, and other errands! I hope to find a family that is a good fit for my skills :)

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Atascadero, CA

Hi! My name is Constantina, and I’m currently looking for a part-time or full-time position caring for a senior. I have extensive experience working with older adults through nursing school and my clinical experiences. For the past five years, I’ve also worked part-time during school breaks and summers providing care for a senior. In addition, I have years of personal experience caring for and supporting my grandparents, which has given me a deep understanding of how important patience, compassion, and companionship are when caring for an older adult. Currently, I’m working with one family caring for a senior, and I would love the opportunity to support another family as well. I’m compassionate, patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with seniors. I understand how important it is for families to have someone they can trust to provide respectful, caring, and reliable support. I’m preparing to begin my RN nursing residency program and would love the opportunity to continue caring for seniors beforehand. I’m happy to help with companionship, meal preparation, errands, appointments, light housekeeping, daily routines, and other needs that may make day-to-day life easier and more comfortable. I’d love to learn more about your loved one and see if I might be a good fit for your family. Please feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to connect!

Isaiah $35 per hour for 1 child

Hi - my name is Isaiah I am a responsible and dedicated caregiver with several years of hands-on experience caring for young children in a busy household. Over the past 2–5 years, I have helped care for my baby brother under one year old, my 7-year-old brother, and my 6-year-old nephew, along with assisting in the care of multiple dogs. This experience has taught me how to manage different ages, needs, and personalities all at once while staying patient and attentive. My responsibilities have included feeding, changing, and soothing an infant, as well as helping older children with daily routines, supervision, and activities. I’ve learned how to keep a safe and structured environment while still making time for fun and engagement. Balancing the needs of multiple children and pets has strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized, and respond quickly in different situations.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
