I am a professional childcare provider with more than 20 years of experience working with children from newborns through school age in both private-home and early childhood education settings. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Science with an Emphasis in Childhood & Adolescence Disorders and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Leadership.
My experience includes newborn and infant care, toddlers and preschoolers, school-age children, multiples, and children with autism, ADHD, PDA, and other developmental needs. I am also a trained Newborn Care Specialist, Infant & Toddler Specialist, 200-hour yoga instructor, and am certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid.
I believe children thrive when they feel safe, respected, and understood. My caregiving style is warm, active, developmentally informed, and responsive to each child’s individual personality and needs. I enjoy getting children out into the community, exploring nature, reading, creative play, movement, and creating experiences that support their independence and development.
I am available for babysitting, backup care, temporary care, school closures, nanny coverage, and occasional longer-term needs throughout the Bay Area. I especially enjoy developing ongoing relationships with families so children have a familiar, trusted caregiver when their regular care isn’t available.
