Maribel $30 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I moved to San Francisco four years ago from North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. My career naturally evolved into science education with elementary-aged children, and I now nanny full-time. With six years of childcare experience working with newborns through six-year-olds, I love providing hands-on care and learning opportunities. I follow children’s natural curiosities while staying closely attuned to their cues around feeding, rest, and play, creating a supportive and engaging environment where they can thrive.

“Nisa watched my kid and my neighbors as part of a nanny share when they were around 6 months old until they were 17 months. Nisa is extremely reliable, organized and took really good care of our kids. She developed a clear schedule and kept to it every single day. She even sleep trained trained the kids. Nisa took care of our kids like her own. Any family would be lucky today have Nisa as their nanny. Highly recommend her.”

$26 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Brisbane, CA

Hi! My name is Anika and I am currently looking for child care, senior care, or household service work. I am 27 years old, and have a Biology and GIS degree from UCLA, and have been working on organic farms and agricultural nonprofits for the past 4 years. After graduating college I worked for about 6 months as a live-in nanny for a family in Walnut Creek, but my experience as a babysitter spans more than 10 years. I also have a 4-year-old nephew, and 1-year-old niece who are the loves of my life. I lived with my sister and her family for 3 months after my niece was born, taking care of both kids, cooking, cleaning, and caring for my sisters family. Helping families is very rewarding work for me. I am currently volunteering as a birth doula at a Hospital nearby and so am around babies and parents all the time! I have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids of up to 15 years old. As a household assistant I can cook, clean, and complete household errands as needed. I love to cook as I feel like organic farming and a love for cooking go hand in hand. I have been a caretaker for my own grandparents and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. (I am also a great scrabble partner!) I can't wait to hear from you!

“Anika was very communicative as we worked through the details of her first day with us. She had my son laughing during playtime and I appreciated how proactive she was to jump into our schedule. Looking forward to working with her again!”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
