I just moved to New York for a couple of months. During this time I would love to babysit. I have experience working as a camp counselor where I was responsible for groups of 10 children aged 3 to 5. I learned how to care for all ages and all profiles. I also have experience with babies, I have cared over the past few months for a baby (from when they were a 6 month old to now a 1 year old), caring for them during the day and completing their night time routine. Tasks I did: help with lunch, assure safety at all times, respect a tight schedule, be alert and observant of all children always, motivate children to do what they have to get done (eg. Drinking water, brushing teeth), play games and engage conversations, keep parents informed of any problems asap, … I have also done overnight babysitting for a regular family (multiple days/ nights without parents) and gotten children ready for bed & school in the morning. I am one of four siblings and have two younger brothers. Both of which I have spent a lot of time with and caring for, from diaper cleaning to helping with homework. Outside of my family, I have taken care of multiple children in New York, Paris, London and San Francisco. A non-exhaustive list of tasks I have done: walking with children from school to home, helping with homework, playing board games, waking up and getting ready for school, morning and evening hygiene tasks, putting children to bed, reading with them, outside walks to the park, planning cultural outings. In addition, I can do house cleaning tasks, prepare basic and healthy meals, and take care of cats. I am a french native and I can help with oral practice and homework. I have experience with family seniors that are physically impaired with general help and hygiene. Overall, I believe that every child is unique, special and has particular needs. I am respectful and responsible and will prioritise any tasks assigned. I have always been around young children and I love seeing them evolve.

Booked by 9 families in El Sobrante, CA

Hi families! My name is Tatiana, and I have over 4 years of experience working with kids. Most of my time as a nanny has been focused on caring for little ones between 6 months and 5 years old, but I’ve also worked with older kids from 5 to 13 years old, helping with everything from playtime and meals to homework and routines. I’ve had the chance to work with different families in the Bay Area, both full-time and occasionally, and I truly enjoy being part of each child’s growth. I love creating moments where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. I always do my best to bring calm, positive energy into the home, and to be someone both kids and parents can count on. ✨ A few things about me: • I’m patient, loving, and responsible • I adapt easily to new routines and family needs • I’m very committed and always show up with my full heart • I speak English and Spanish • I’m Covid vaccinated, have first aid training, I’m a non-smoker, and a safe driver I’m currently open to occasional babysitting jobs, and I’m happy to do interviews or calls before starting so we can get to know each other. I can also share references from the families I’ve worked with, who can tell you more about my experience and the kind of support I offer. I’d love the chance to meet your family and support you whenever you need an extra hand!

“So communicative and kind! Kids loved her! ”

I have many nieces/ nephews and my little sister whom I have taken care of during her infancy. My duties have included preparing meals, dressing, bathing, bedtime, laundry, assisting with homework, school pick ups/drop offs, afterschool activities, household chores and engaging play, crafts, and outings including the park. I was also a camp counselor and educator for 8 years in total so I am very comfortable around children. I am trained in First Aid /CPR (currently working on recertification) and water safety, and have completed a course in early childhood development. I also work well with seniors having looked after my ill grandparents at various points of their lives. I am able to provide senior care and household services care by preparing healthy meals, laundry and housework chores, grocery shopping, organizing, cleaning up shared spaces, assisting with errands, appointments and social outings, etc. I look forward to meeting your lovely family and working with you!

“We hired Anele for a 2 hours for the first time. Anele arrived on time with a smile on her face and started attending to my son right away, engaging in his interests , making sure he felt comfortable enough before us parents left the house. When we returned our son was disapointed that Anele had to go home. We will hire Anele again.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
