I am an older, responsible, fun and loving mom of 6 adults and 9 grandchildren. My husband and I as self employed. As I'm getting older, I'm wanting to use my time the very best I can, this includes caring for kids because it offers a flexible schedule. My kids now live all over the World, which I love! I get to visit often as well as have them visit for holidays and the summer. We love taking our kids/grandkids on family trips to Disney Land, Lake Shasta for camping, fishing, the ocean for crabbing or a beach day. We love aquariums, museums, and playing games. I have lots of experience with infants, boys and girls as I had 3 of each including care taking of elderly family, parents etc. We live on a small piece of property just outside woodland. In my spare time I love to garden, entertain my chickens, give sourdough a go, raise an occasional pig as well as walk with my 2 dogs. I have a minitaure schnauzer EmmyLou and a mini bernadoodle Archie. I'm looking to give back to the community and filling a need so many have. Hey! My name is Izic. I’ve been babysitting for about two years, and I really enjoy working with kids. One of the coolest things I’ve gotten to do was be a cabin leader at two overnight sixth grade science camps in Davis. I was responsible for 12 campers (all by myself 🫩) at a time, and we spent the week hiking, doing activities, and just having fun outdoors. I love being outside, so it was honestly one of my favorite experiences. Something I’ll never forget happened the day before I graduated high school. Even though I hadn’t seen my campers in about three months, they surprised me by making me a custom shirt and having it delivered to my school. I had no idea they were doing it, and it meant a lot to me. Knowing they still remembered me months later showed me that I had made a real impact on them. Right now I’m a lifeguard manager, so I work with kids every day. I’m CPR/AED and Lifeguard certified, and keeping kids safe has always been my number one priority. I also have experience working with children with special needs. When I’m not working, I’m usually outside. I like hiking, going on walks, playing sports, and hanging out with my friends.
