Katie $30 per hour for 1 child

I am a 58 years old mother of 3 amazing daughters and am now a grandmother to a two year old with another on the way. My youngest daughter just graduated high school and is off to college so I am now free to commit to a family for child care or senior care. I have been a stay at home Mom with all 3 of my girls and have been helping with my Grandson since the day he was born. I also have experience with seniors. When both of my in-laws became sick with dementia and cancer I moved them both into my house and provided round the clock care for them for several years until they moved into hospice. I have always enjoyed being a caregiver. It comes naturally to me. I am very responsible, trustworthy and loyal and I take great pride in any work I do. I am CPR certified, have a 2025 Outback with insurance and have a clean record. **I do have allergies to cats and dogs and it can be quite severe so unfortunately I can only work in a pet free home.** Thank you for your consideration

Hi families! I’m Kaylee, a reliable and experienced caregiver who loves working with kids of all ages, from infants to school-aged. I currently work as a paraeducator for Cypress School District, where I support learning and engaging activities. I’ve also coached swimming, helping children build confidence and safety skills in the water. I’m CPR-certified, patient, and committed to creating a safe, positive environment for your kids. Along with childcare, I’m happy to help with light household tasks and pet care. My goal is to support your family and make your days a little easier!

“Kaylee is a wonderful babysitter. I needed to find a last minute sitter for my 10 and 6 year old daughters. She offered to speak with me on the phone before hand. She played games with my kids and they had a great time. Kaylee was on time and I eager to get to know my kiddos. Kaylee followed all my instructions and kept me updated I look forward to having her back.”

$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 229 families in Garden Grove, CA

Hello! My name is Skylar Kennedy and I have always known that I love working with kids. I am the oldest of 7 children and started looking after the little ones very early on. Then in my teens and early 20s I started coaching Pop Warner cheer, working in children's theatre groups, and babysitting as much as possible. I started being a nanny at 19years old and just kept up the momentum. I now have worked with over 100 kiddos ranging in age from 3weeks to 15 years old. I also have extensive experience with children on the spectrum, kids with verbal or developmental delays, deaf or non verbal, ADHD, and Anxiety disorders. I am currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in child development and have my first aid/CPR certification. My approach with kids is just meeting them where they are and understanding that children learn and communicate through play. There's so much value in making a mess and/or playing outside as much as possible. Everything can be a learning experience without it even feeling like we have taught a child anything because we just had so much fun getting dirty and cleaning up together. For jobs 3 days or less per week and one time bookings, I do have a late cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will result in a 1/2 payment. Ex: if my projected pay was 100$ for the day, the late payment would be 50$. For full time families, I require guaranteed hours per week, paid on the books through a payroll service at 30-40$ per hour depending on responsibilities and number of children. I also prefer to negotiate for holiday/sick days (typically 2 weeks vacation and 1 weeks work of sick time but again we can negotiate a bit!) I also teach acting and baking lessons as well as holding mini craft workshops. If interested, please reach out for details and rates!

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
