Hello! I’m Allison, a compassionate, optimistic, intuitive being with over five years of experience caring for little ones. While I've been familiar with children of all ages, I am most experienced with those between 18 months to ten years old. I am led by a deep sense of love and reverence for all beings and a desire to make everyone around me feel truly seen. I enjoy fostering environments where children feel respected, safe, and nurtured in their curiosity and unique modes of expression. One of my greatest gifts is my ability to handle stress with grace and positivity, providing a backdrop of emotional regulation for children to learn to navigate their ever-changing emotional highs and lows. In addition to caring for children, I have experience as a yoga instructor and a recreational dancer. (A long-term professional goal of mine is to work in Dance/Movement based therapy, therefore I value the role of movement in the development and holistic well-being of our little ones). I have two years of experience working as an ESL-tutor and can help kids work towards their academic goals. With my B.A. degree in Creative Writing from Bard College, I love encouraging children to read, watch, listen, analyze, and create their own stories, whether it be through watching movies, dressing up, or playing improv games. Additionally, I enjoy cooking, crafting, decorating, and all the small efforts that make everyday moments feel just a little more special. I have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes. While I don’t have experience caring for elderly, I very much enjoy the company of elders and would consider an opportunity to work with them to be a great privilege. Located in Venice.
