Preschool Teacher with a Master's degree in Psychology seeking to return to nannying. CPR and First-Aid certified. I am currently a preschool teacher in the East Bay M-F until 5:45pm so I'm open to after school babysitting or transitioning jobs for the right fit. Our school year ends in May and I would love to find the right family to work for when my current kiddos transition to their next class. I previously worked as a full-time nanny for a family with a 2-year-old boy as well as a family with three wonderful children (ages 3, 5, and 8). As a teaching assistant and also an extended day teacher, I was responsible for creating activities, leading storytime, helping children with their projects as needed, guiding children in conflict resolution, modeling kindness, leading movement songs, changing children who had potty accidents, and ensuring children were prepared for pick-up with all of their art and belongings. I completed my Master's in Psychology in 2021 and am eventually planning to return to graduate school to pursue licensure as a marriage and family therapist. I am warm, patient, kind, and genuinely care deeply for the children in my life. I am so grateful to spend my days with them. I love reading with children, doing art projects, playing at the park, and singing songs together. I place a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and modeling kindness and empathy.
