Hello! My name is Carly and I'm 29 years old. I have watched many kids over the years since I was around 14, as I used to babysit - and still babysit - my 2nd baby cousins and I have also babysat professionally through the Trusted app from August 2017-December 2017 and had to briefly take a break since I went to study abroad the following semester. I’ve babysat kids from months old up until about 7 years old throughout the years, though. I am back and ready to spend time with these sweet, imaginative kids! I love spending time with babies or kids because they have such amazing, intelligent minds and I love to watch them grow whether it is by height or through improvements in their education or just through their personality. I am really into arts and crafts and love to be active, so keeping up is really no problem for me. I can speak a bit of Spanish if you’d like me to speak with your child in conversational Spanish :)

I am nany with years of experience I speak Spanish and intermediate level of English. I know how to cook and prepare snacks. I know drive car and I have a license. I have cpr certified. I have focused on Montessori education and respectful parenting. My available schedule at the moment is 8:30am to 5:30 pm and then from 7pm to 10pm I am very clear that the most important thing is attention to your children, care and that they have moments of fun. I also understand the independence of some children and that others need a more sensitive caregiver who listens to them and is present in the moment. Hi I’m Maddie and I currently work as an outdoor educator making the transition to classroom teaching this fall. I’ve worked in various childcare environments, finding the most reward from programs that prioritize outdoor experience, hands-on learning, creativity, and play. My interest in working with kids began in high school through various summer nannying and babysitting gigs, support at local in-home daycares and eventually with a local preschool. I’ve spent the past 5 years working in more structured outdoor-based school-year programs and summer camps. Within all of these roles I’ve worked with children of all ages, needs, backgrounds and experiences, allowing for me to have a deep understanding of how to support each child as an individual. I really appreciate being able to connect with all kids, and find great connection with people on the spectrum, or with behavioral needs. When working with kids, I love to find a balance between being energetic and silly with them while still maintaining respect and expectations. As an individual I could be described as silly, loud, and caring, I love spending time outside, doing all sorts of crafts and listening to live music.
