My love for children has always felt very natural to me, and I followed my passion by studying Early Childhood Education while earning my B.A. in Psychobiology at UC San Diego. During that time, I lived with a professional athlete and cared for his family and baby girl who was born at just 27 weeks. For almost 5 years, I was by her side after she faced six strokes and many developmental challenges. I learned, in a very real and personal way, what it means to show up every day with patience, curiosity, and love—and how constant learning, training and devoted care can help a child grow and thrive. I view my true value as providing full family support. I’m very comfortable stepping into the real, everyday rhythm of a household: early mornings, laundry, dishes, AM/PM routines, last-minute changes, and everything in between. I take a kind, clear approach to childcare: safety first, connection over correction and empathy always. I stay current on modern child development practices and am especially interested in music therapy, physiotherapy, emotional literacy, and play-based learning. In simple terms, I care about how a child feels in their body and heart, not just what they “do” in a day. I'm also a Naturopathic Cook and have been entrusted to prepare nutritious meals for children & entire households.
