Find an after school nanny in Moraga, CA

Preschool Teacher with a Master's degree in Psychology seeking to return to nannying. CPR and First-Aid certified. I am currently a preschool teacher in the East Bay M-F until 5:45pm so I'm open to after school babysitting or transitioning jobs for the right fit. Our school year ends in May and I would love to find the right family to work for when my current kiddos transition to their next class. I previously worked as a full-time nanny for a family with a 2-year-old boy as well as a family with three wonderful children (ages 3, 5, and 8). I also worked as a teacher in a Montessori preschool in San Francisco for 4 years. As a teaching assistant and also an extended day teacher, I was responsible for creating activities, leading storytime, helping children with their projects as needed, guiding children in conflict resolution, modeling kindness, leading movement songs, changing children who had potty accidents, and ensuring children were prepared for pick-up with all of their art and belongings. I completed my Master's in Psychology in 2021 and am eventually planning to return to graduate school to pursue licensure as a marriage and family therapist. I am warm, patient, kind, and genuinely care deeply for the children in my life. I am so grateful to spend my days with them. I love reading with children, doing art projects, playing at the park, and singing songs together. I place a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and modeling kindness and empathy. I also enjoy fostering children’s innate interests and curiosities. As a former teacher, I am confident in supplementing and enriching children’s learning. It is deeply important to me to maintain contact with the children for whom I served as a nanny and essential that families understand the genuine love that can exist between children and their long-term caregivers. I have always been drawn to caring for children and families. My experience began over 15 years ago as a summer camp counselor (I have never met a craft I didn't excel at), babysitter, nanny, and now as a newborn care specialist/ postpartum doula. I love joining children in their world of play and making it as fun and engaging as possible. Although my specific certifications and professional experience are primarily focused on newborns and infants, I have cared for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. I'm able to meet each age group where they are at and strive to make my time shared with them engaging and fun.

Hi! I am a 2025 graduate from UC Irvine, hoping to find a family I can babysit/nanny for on consistent basis during my gap year before law school. I am 23- years old and have 8 years of babysitting and nannying experience for younger children aged 6 months-13 years old, with experience nannying up to 3 children under my care at a time. I was a certified lifeguard at Sequoia Country Club for two years and worked at the child care center there during that time where I was responsible for the needs and safety of up to 15 children at a time. I also have over 500 hours of community service as a reading tutor for elementary school kids through the programs Reading Buddies and Reading Partners.
