Hi! I'm Jada, and caring for children has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I love creating safe, encouraging, and fun environments where kids can learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids. I earned my Bachelor of Science in English and recently completed my MBA from Liberty University. My education, combined with years of hands-on experience, has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. For the past five years, I've spent time every week serving in lower-income housing communities, working with children from 6 months to 18 years old. I led lessons, organized activities, mentored children, and built meaningful relationships with families. My goal was always to be a positive influence while making life a little easier for parents. I've also worked as a nanny throughout college and have continued nannying over the past year. I've cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers, and I'm comfortable preparing meals, helping with homework, creating fun activities, maintaining routines, and transporting children to and from school or activities. I have a clean driving record, so families can feel confident knowing their children are in safe hands. In addition to childcare, I've spent several years mentoring students through leadership roles as a Resident Assistant and Commuter Coordinator. As the youngest of 6 siblings you can imagine all the free babysitting that comes with it. I take much pride in being the favorite auntie of the family. Family is a big part of my life. Living in a multigenerational household I’m around kids all day everyday. I’m not asked to but out of instinct taking care of my nieces and nephews is second nature. It is something that has been instilled in me since I was a kid. Coming from a Hispanic background family is everything. I believe it has shaped me and led me to where I’m currently at today. I am all about health and wellness and i’m always sharing my knowledge with others. I love all things nature and outdoor especially the beach. I’m also a proud furr-mom to Zuli my adorable Siberian Husky. As someone who grew up with lots of dogs it was only natural I get one of my own. She’s the best and I love her so much even though she can be sassy. If given the opportunity I will care for your furr-baby as my own. In my early high school days up until now, I do lots of volunteer work with children. I’ve chaperoned many fields trips for Lighthouse Montessori school and the YMCA. I currently help my church teach Sunday school and help with community events like Toys for Tots. Although I went to school for kinesiology, I’m currently working part time as a swim instructor and coach. I work with children of all ages as well as adults. I absolutely love my job, coming from someone who swam and played water polo for many years. I also offer private lessons in swimming and basic water safety. I hope to offer my skills, knowledge, and care for all children and pets. As someone who does not have children I cannot relate but simply help. Hello! My name is Courtney, and I would love to share a little more about myself. I have a degree that included extensive Early Childhood Education coursework and have accumulated over 5 years of paid childcare experience with infants as young as 4 months old. During this time, I have worked as a child development specialist, private childcare provider as well as in daycare settings. In addition, I have been trained in Early Intervention Therapy, assessing developmental milestones and supporting growth across all areas of development.
