For eight years, I have had the privilege of assisting families as a nanny for children from infancy through adolescence. I was previously with a family of 6 children, all under age 6, which included a set of twins on the autism spectrum. Every day was an adventure but it was the most rewarding experience so this just might be my calling. I am patient, creative, and innovative. I am just as comfortable with newborns as I am with teenagers. For newborns and infants, I am very experienced with implementing a sleeping and eating schedule, introducing solids, toilet training, and meeting milestones. For children, I enjoy introducing them to new sports and engaging activities such as baking and arts and crafts. I am able to assist with homework and tutoring using various methods, whether it be visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. I am a firm believer in positive communication and believe it is important to teach children how to communicate their emotions. I use emotion cards or simply have a conversation and after a rough day I most commonly introduce art or sound therapy. I am experienced caring for more than one child at a time and of all abilities. I am happy to help prepare snacks and cook meals, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I am First Aid, CPR, and AED trained. I believe in open communication and will always keep you informed about your child’s day, using your preferred method. Ultimately, I hope to create a fun and safe environment for children to thrive as well as being a great support system to parents.

Dear Parents, my name is Alex and I am a caring, energetic, and reliable caregiver who is an LA native. I attended Harvard-Westlake high school and NYU. I did a lot of babysitting in college when I was in NYC and I am looking to get back into it as I try to support my career as a screenwriter in Hollywood. When I was twenty my dad had two daughters with his new wife so I have spent the last ten years watching my two beautiful half sisters grow up. I lived at the house with them from basically the time they were born until they were seven and five. I cared for them as babies and was constantly playing with them as we were all stuck in quarantine together during COVID. I did everything with them from constant games, to dress up, to even teaching them how to swim in our pool. When we weren't playing I helped prepare them meals, bathed them after dinner, and read books / sang songs to them to put them to bed. I currently live in an apartment in Brentwood with my girlfriend and have flexible hours to be a caregiver as I work around my writing schedule. I am comfortable with kids of all ages, from babies to teenagers and I also love animals. Hi - My name is Tameka. I am offering child care, senior care and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers and kids (including a child with autism). I started babysitting at 22 when my first nephew was born. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts and extra curricular activities, naptimes & etc. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean and run errands. I was a caretaker for my uncle when he was going through dementia. I took him on walks, played music and danced with him, and also took him to his appointments. When he was in the hospital at the end, I would sit and have long talks with him even though I knew he couldn’t respond. I knew he could hear me, and that was what mattered the most. I am a church Sunday school teacher at my Christian church. Take care of kids from 3 months to 10 years old. In addition, I have 3 siblings of the age of 6,8,& 14. That alone has taught me all I need to know about kids. I am open to cooking and also cleaning if needed for extra. I currently work at a law office but also in school.
