I'm the oldest of my family including 40 first cousins. Kids were always around when I was growing up, and I always loved to take care of my cousins. I also grew up out in the woods with tons of dogs, pet chickens, and I learned to care for animals from a young age. As I got older, I became the main caretaker for my nephew who is 3 and the rest of my family is a bit jealous of how he gravitates towards me. I have never lost that childhood love of play, and I think that is what makes me an amazing caretaker, I know how to get on a level playing field with a kid and make even the hardest tasks fun and challenging. I'm calm and easy to be around kind of person, and that calm energy is grounding for kids and pets alike. I also am a very clean person and I like to keep my environment as tidy as possible.

I am patient and very nurturing I enjoy creating fun activities to make them learn and grow.I am very trustworthy, always punctual and can help with last minute tasks or changes seamlessly I will keep your children safe. I have a gentle but fun high energy demeanor. I also love pets and will treat them like my own. Available for running errands, I'll keep your home tidy but I do not " clean". I can house sit for a period of time as well.

Hi! :) My name is Ruby, and I’m a sitter who genuinely loves working with kids and being someone families can rely on. I grew up helping raise my nieces and nephews, so childcare has always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for children ranging from infants to middle school age, including early mornings and full-day care while parents were at work. I’m comfortable with diaper changes, bottle feeding, meal prep, bedtime routines, and light household tasks like dishes and laundry. Since joining UrbanSitter, I’ve also gained experience working with different families and adapting to different routines, parenting styles, and age groups. One of my nephews has nut and egg allergies (and previously had a milk allergy), so I’m very cautious about food safety and always pay close attention to labels and cross-contamination.
