I've always had a passion for helping children develop and grow. With over 25 years of experience, I have the skills and knowledge to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child from new born, toddler and preschoolers. I'm extremely patient, and friendly. I know how to communicate effectively with parents about their child's day. I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules and am comfortable caring for one child or two children at a time. I'm a big kid at heart. I'm not afraid being silly with kids. I enjoy playing all sorts of games with children, both indoors and outdoors. Also love to have my own story time, music dancing and art class with a little one !!! In addition to my Early Childhood Development coursework, I have First Aid and CPR training, and am TrustLine certified. I also speak Chinese and English. As a caregiver, I'm committed to fostering a positive and enriching experience for both children and their families.

“We have been fortunate to have Kelly help raise our daughters (3 years and 10 months old) for the past 2.5 years. During that time she has been a wonderful part of our family. Our daughters adore Kelly. She brings a fun, warm energy with enthusiasm daily. She reads and sings with our girls throughout the day in both English and Chinese. Every day, she takes our daughter outside on a walk or visit to the library. She is also great at mealtimes getting our kids to eat full meals. With our older daughter she would help with art projects. She is attentive and gentle with our 10 month old. She shows genuine affection and care for our girls and they clearly love her. Kelly is reliable - she shows up on time (typically early) ALWAYS and comes in ready to care for our daughters right away. We’ve needed her help for 10 hours each day, and she remains attentive to our kids all day. Kelly is conscientious - she always changes the baby’s diaper before handing her off to us. And she is dedicated - she worked overtime hours when we needed extra help when my wife went into labor with our second. We especially appreciate Kelly understands the importance of the big variables to solve for with young kids - full sleep and good meals - and she communicates regularly about their naps and appetite. Altogether, we’ve had a wonderful experience with Kelly. We would happily and readily recommend Kelly to another family.”

Jenna 2 reviews
$40 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Jenna, and I am currently enrolled at WGU, where I am completing my teaching credential in Special Education. I am primarily offering childcare services and truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and be themselves. I have over 7 years of childcare experience as a nanny, behavioral therapy manager, and school aide. Throughout my career, I have worked with infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and young adults, including individuals with special needs. One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching them gain confidence, discover new interests, and reach milestones. It's incredibly rewarding to be someone who can support and encourage their growth every step of the way. In previous roles, I have provided light cooking, meal preparation, interactive play that encourages learning and development, tutoring, arts and crafts, and transportation to and from activities. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping to make life a little easier for busy families. I am comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs and would be happy to assist with pet care as an additional responsibility. Your child's safety is always my top priority. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, so you can have peace of mind knowing your child is in capable and caring hands. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide reliable, compassionate care while helping your child learn, explore, and have fun every day.

“Jenna has been working with my 12-yo autistic son for almost 2 yrs now. We initially met her as an ABA therapist. We liked working with her so much. After she quit that job, we have decided to hire her to continue working with our son but this time to help tutor my son on a regular basis. She is very loving and patient with him. Her background in ABA is very useful as she tries to get our son engaged in his academics. Since we started doing this, our son’s attention span for school work (non-preferred activity) has dramatically increased. My son now enjoys reading and doing math with us! She also comes over to sometimes just help babysit. They would play games or go to the pool. I love that she makes sure that Alex is engaged. ! I would highly recommend Jenna!”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
