Originally from Santa Monica, I moved to San Francisco for school and received a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities at San Francisco State University. I have always got along well with children and began casually babysitting during the Pandemic. Having the opportunity to work with families in 2021 inspired me to begin my career as a Preschool Teacher. I began my education journey at Little Earthling's Forest School where I had the opportunity to learn some outdoor education. I then worked at La Scuola International School in their preschool location at Dogpatch. I was an assistant teacher and gained so much knowledge about the Reggio Emilia approach in education, gained experience working with a diverse group of children, and learned a bit of Italian as well. While teaching at La Scuola, I received my child development certification at Skyline Community College. After working at La Scuola for 3 years, I decided to back home to Los Angeles to be close to my family and newborn nephew and I'm currently teaching at Piper Preschool. It was at Piper where I had the privilege to collaborate and work with Speech Pathologists and I found my passion to become a Speech Therapist. I felt that I gained so much insight to be a better and happier person from children and being a teacher has been a rewarding and growing experience. It's bittersweet for me to pause my teaching career, however, I am excited to have the opportunity to work with families in the city and begin my journey getting my master's degree. Besides studying and taking care of children, I love hiking and taking long walks along the city. I also love to read and get into arts and crafts such as stamp printmaking, photography scrapbooking, and painting.

“Daria is bright, reliable, responsible and very engaging with kids. She's a good communicator, always arrived on time and clearly cares about doing a great job. She substituted for our nanny for a few weeks and we were thrilled. In fact, we've already booked her for another job.”

Chloe $28 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Chloe. I offer Babysitting/Nannying for children with special needs, as well as General Babysitting/Nannying services. I bring 5+ years of experience across various roles including Registered Behavior Technician, preschool teaching, private babysitting, and infant caregiving. As a Registered Behavior Technician, I primarily served children ages 2-8 who were diagnosed with moderate-to-severe autism. Although my background shapes how I approach care, I am not currently offering clinical or therapeutic services. Special Needs Services: - Prioritizing autonomy, independence, and confidence. Assisting with daily routines using a "hands-off" model. - Therapy reinforcement and consistency. - Daily care: dressing, toileting, hygiene, mobility, and medical equipment handling. - Practice strengthening communication skills using AAC devices, when available. I am familiar with Proloquo2Go and TouchChat. General Babysitting Services: - Infants through school-age children. - Meals, routines, and developmentally-appropriate activities. - Prioritize outdoor play, inspired by Reggio, Waldorf, and play-based educational philosophies.

$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi! I have a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Washington. I leverage my academic work as a full-time as a Consultant, where I assist healthcare systems with strategy and finances. I also teach at CorePower Yoga part-time, as I am passionate about collaborating with clients on their healthcare journeys. I am looking to be a babysitter, as I enjoy working with families and children. I babysat in my hometown in Seattle, as well as in Chicago, serving as testaments that I can collaborate and serve diverse families in various regions. I would pick the children up from school, help with reading comprehension, homework, and arts and crafts. I used to be a nursing assistant, so I have direct care experience in helping children and proving direct care. I am CPR and AED certified. I have been working with elderly and children for about four years. Additionally, I have experience in engaging in housekeeping and other errand activities, such as ordering groceries, cooking, and cleaning. In my free time, I run and train marathons; recently qualified to run the Chicago Marathon in October 2025. I also enjoy snowboarding and walking around the parks. Reading, journaling, and travel are also important hobbies of mine! I look forward to hearing from you!

“Alyssa was very responsive, punctual, and went above and beyond taking excellent care of Playa.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
