Hi! I’m a 22-year-old college student at San José State University majoring in Social Work with a minor in Child & Adolescent Development. I’m CPR certified, have a valid driver’s license, and have my own reliable car. I have several years of experience working with children. I recently completed a school district internship where I worked one-on-one with children ages 4–12 in a middle school wellness center, and I currently work at an after-school care program Monday–Friday from 3–5 PM. My schedule may occasionally include minimum days, so my availability can vary. I’ve also worked at summer camps for the past 4 summers, working with children from kindergarten through 4th grade. As a camp counselor, I was responsible for a group of 8 children during activities, pool time, and field trips. I’ve also worked as a teacher’s assistant with 1st–4th graders, helping in the classroom, supervising recess, and accompanying students on field trips. Outside of work, I have experience caring for my 8-year-old niece and 4-year-old nephew. I’m very active and love keeping kids entertained! I’ve been dancing for 17 years and would be happy to teach dance, and I also played basketball for 4 years and enjoy playing other sports and outdoor activities.
