Hi! My name is Selene and I’m a University of Berkeley, California graduate with a B.A. in psychology. I started sitting when I was 13 and supported families in my neighborhood with their kids. In college, I worked for a church’s childcare group (ages 4 months-4 years) and tutored children in Spanish and math. I have loads of experience with school aged children (3-10). My child related job experience includes working in a domestic violence shelter for mothers and children of all different ages. We tutored, mentored, and provided childcare in the shelter using a non violent empowerment model. I also worked with elementary school children and teenagers working as an after school aid at non profit that provides services to children in the mission. I’ve had a few long term tutoring and sitting jobs and am currently looking to support a few families at a need basis! I like to co create activities with the children im caring for that are developmentally appropriate. For example, I love to use textured toys and sensory activities for infants to improve dexterity and color recognition and for children 4-8, I love to play games that help them move and use their imagination. (Dance party anyone?) I would describe my baby sitting style as engaged, imaginative and collaborative.

I was a Production Coordinator on Hollywood Films for 20 years. I am naturally detailed oriented, highly organized, and an excellent multi-tasker. I now enjoy babysitting because it allows me to play outdoors with Kids! I love doing creative projects with kids like: arts and crafts, painting, coloring, reading, and Play-Doh. I enjoy being outside, going to parks, beaches and libraries. My hobbies include cooking, home organizing, Pet and House Sitting. 4 Hour Minimum per Booking. I am extremely flexible. Hello parent(s) and families! My name is Taylor and I am 26 years old. I am currently taking a break from school and am looking for occasional, part-time or full-time jobs as a sitter. I love children of all ages and am also pet friendly. I can understand Spanish and speak it, but not fluently. I worked at the YMCA as a junior camp counselor over a summer and have been babysitting for about 8-10 years now. Prior, I would watch my younger siblings when my mom had to run errands or go out. Apart from watching over a group as a camp counselor, I have babysat 4 children at most and 2 pets (at one time.) The ages I have been a caregiver for while babysitting was 6mo and older. I love spending time with kids, making them laugh, doing activities with them and having movie time. I am active and would enjoy taking them outdoors when possible.
