I’m happy to follow your family’s rules and schedules. I make it my mission to make sure any child I’m watching over is cared for, safe and having fun. I’m big on communication, so I will keep you updated and won’t hesitate to ask questions or reach out if anything comes up! Please note that my standard rates apply to local bookings. “Karina is an exceptional caregiver who consistently demonstrates excellent childcare skills, professionalism, and genuine care for children. We especially appreciate the imagination and creativity she brings to playtime, creating engaging and enriching experiences for our toddler. Karina is proactive when it comes to our child’s safety. For example, she thoughtfully shares her location when taking our toddler on walks, which gives us additional peace of mind. She is also an excellent communicator and keeps us informed while remaining attentive to our preferences and expectations. In addition to providing wonderful childcare, Karina is very helpful around the household. She assists with putting food away, doing the dishes, and supporting our child’s bath time and bedtime routines. She is personable, approachable, and easy to communicate with. Karina is very receptive to feedback and consistently makes an effort to respect and incorporate our wishes. Her experience and confidence as a caregiver are evident in the way she interacts with our child. She does a wonderful job teaching appropriate rules, boundaries, and respect for others in an age-appropriate and positive way. We have been very pleased with Karina’s care and would highly recommend her services to any family looking for a dependable, experienced, and caring childcare provider.”

Hello! My name is Alexis, and I provide childcare and tutoring services. I grew up and currently live in Anaheim. I just finished my undergrad at Azusa Pacific University, where I studied finance and was a member of the women’s soccer team. Having lived in Southern California my whole life, I am very familiar with the area and enjoy being active, responsible, and engaged in my community. I have over 7 years of childcare experience, starting at age 15, and I genuinely love working with children. My background includes: • Caring for cousins, nieces, and nephews from a young age—helping with cooking, reading, swimming, and daily activities. • Babysitting for multiple families through UrbanSitter. • Tutoring students from elementary through high school in subjects such as reading, science, and math (2nd grade, 3rd grade, and freshman level). $20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 7 families in Yorba Linda, CA

Hello! My name is Kaelin and I am a recent graduate from UCSD! I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in child development and literature. My area of focus is child development in psychology so I understand the needs of each child at any age. Experience includes: - professionally babysitting for 3+ years - worked with kids 1:1 in schools on the spectrum/ with varying behavioral issues - worked at a group home with adolescents with varying behavioral issues - coach for kids age 6-18 for cross country, soccer, track, and rock climbing I’d be glad to help with any of their homework, read to the kids, help with their literacy skills, etc. I can also help with basic math homework. My goal as a psychology graduate and also as a person is to let the kids understand that they are a human as well and should be treated with the same respect and kindness that adults treat each other with. Often times people treat kids as if they’re less autonomous beings because of their age and I think it’s important to let them know their ideas, opinions and thoughts are just as important and valuable as ours. It build their confidence and self-esteem and also helps with their identity development. One of my more integral talents is being very craft and creative! I have my own small business where I make stuffed animals and I absolutely love doing any sort of arts and crafts. (I can also bring supplies of my own to do different activities with the kids) I am also very good at baking! So if your kids want to learn how to bake, need a snack, or you’d like to come home to a baked treat I’d love to do that. I am also open to doing household chores and also errands such as grocery shopping. I am also able to walk dogs and take care of dogs if needed.

“Kaelin was a dream babysitter for me and my family when we visited Disneyland for the weekend. We booked her multiple times, because we were so impressed by her ability to watch a 1 year old and a 5 year old. She is incredibly qualified with an early childhood education degree, flexible, attentive, intuitive. She was so helpful, feeding them, engaging with games, doing bath and also had all the best recommendations for local food and things to do. It was such a pleasure to have a wonderful, caring, warm and intelligent young lady watch our kids. We would 100 percent recommend and book her again! Thank you Kaelin! ”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
