I hold an associate's in Elementary Education, as well as a bachelor's in Anthropology (which I intend to use to become a children's librarian). I believe that kids are so incredibly smart, and getting along well with just them isn't enough. I know that working with parents and guardians is a crucial step to ensuring quality care. When it comes to pets, I have two cats of my own and have lived with dogs throughout my life. One of my cats is special needs, so I have some experience in learning to understand pets that might not act "normal" to how they normally do. I am a quick learner and do very well with instructions, though I might ask some clarifying questions to ensure everyone's comfort and satisfaction. I have a weird quirk: I love cleaning. I actually like when something gets dirty and I have to work to clean it or figure out a new way to get difficult grime off. I think it's my science-mindedness that keeps me researching the best ways to clean! Fun fact: I am a huge board game nerd! I own over 60 different board games, and I love playing them and discovering new ones! If your family is full of board game enthusiasts, I think we'll get along well :)
