Summary I am a dedicated and compassionate professional with experience as a Special Education Paraprofessional, Preschool Teacher, Caregiver, and Pharmacy Technician. I've been caring for others since I was a young girl. Watching over my cousins and little brother. I now care for my nieces and nephews on occasion. I have a college degree in the medical field. I enjoy a variety of games and not only the ones on television. I love caregiving because of the joy I bring others when I show them love and care. I am kind, fun, outgoing and helpful. I took care of my father as he started getting older. I have experience watching my neighbors dogs and cats of my own. I do light household chores and if there is anything you need I appreciate open communication thank you for your consideration.

$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Jonesboro, GA

I’ve been watching friends and families dogs on and off for around 5 years before I officially moved to doing full time pet sitting about a year ago. I am very attentive to details and always take notes, always ask questions to make sure I’m appropriately caring for your animals. And if there’s something I’m unaware of in a certain breed of dog, I am always straight to researching or asking the owner for clarification. I’ve received comments about my communication, which I take seriously and am always about keeping appropriate levels of clear communication when it comes to informing owners about how their pets are doing, asking questions if I have concerns, and reaching out if there’s any delay on my arrival to visits. I mostly have experience in drop in visits where I come and watch your dog for a duration of time to make sure they’re fed, to play with them, and or provide them company for however many times a day the owner would like. I have experience in small dogs all the way up to 60 pound breeds of dogs, as well as puppies all the way up to senior dogs who may need more accommodations for their health, and have experienced putting medications in dogs food or administering oral syringe type. I love animals, having grown up with a dog as well as having 2 small dogs now. From personal experience, I know pets can be apart of the family and are integral to the joys of everyone. My two dogs are my fur babies and I have the desire to provide as much care and love for them and the pets under my care. When it comes to caring for you and your pet, I’m always aiming to provide a pawsitive experience!

“10/10 highly recommend!!! Darayell is efficient, affectionate and professional. I have three fur babies who absolutely love Darayell. She sends copious amounts of photos and a video following each pet sit. She also sends very detailed notes following every visit. I saw on one video that my fur babies were giving her all my kisses and I loved it! ”

Hi my name is LaDonna Russell, most people just call me Donna. I am a 31 year old woman who loves working with kids. I have had experience with all ages and have most recently been working with a few families with children from birth-4 years old. I am CPR certified (BLS renewal date 04/19/2026). I love reading and helping little ones learn about the world around them. I am willing to help out with little chores like tidying and laundry. I am comfortable working with breast milk and formula. I know each family does things differently and I look forward to learning what works best with each family individually.

“LaDonna has been an absolute blessing caring for my son Xander. She approaches him with so much patience, warmth, and genuine care — she takes the time to understand his needs and always makes him feel safe and supported. I’ve noticed real trust build between them, and that means everything to me as his mom. LaDonna is reliable, attentive, and treats Xander like family. I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver, and I recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for someone truly dedicated to their child’s wellbeing.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
