$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in Lithonia, GA

Hi ☺️ My name is Brijea, but you can call me Bri. I’m 26 years old and currently a Junior at GGC majoring in Early Childhood Education. I’m also a certified paraprofessional, RBT and a proud mom of a 5-year-old son, so caregiving and working with others is a natural part of my everyday life. I have extensive hands-on experience in caregiving across all ages. I grew up helping in my grandmother’s daycare, and over the years I’ve cared for children in a wide variety of settings, including serving as a live-in nanny, working in multiple early childhood centers, and supporting elementary-aged students in classroom environments. In addition, I am a PCA and have worked in assisted living facilities, as well as provided senior care for my grandmother and two other seniors in my community. This has given me a strong understanding of patience, routine, safety, and compassionate care. I’ve also worked with countless families through my church and school community, giving me experience with individuals of all ages, abilities, and personalities. I have worked with children in school and as nanny or babysitter. I love supporting growth at every stage of life—whether that’s helping young learners reach milestones or providing companionship and support to seniors. I enjoy reading, painting, cooking, and keeping things clean and organized, and I bring that same sense of calm, creativity, and structure into my caregiving style. I’m punctual, dependable, respectful, and genuinely passionate about what I do. I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide reliable, compassionate care.

“Brijea was great! She was warm, friendly, punctual, and responsive. She was wonderful with both of my sons, especially my youngest, who is autistic. Her experience with autism gave me peace of mind, and I felt confident that my boys were in great hands. I would definitely hire her again. Thank you, Bri!”

Tierra 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Tierra — a nurturing childcare professional and experienced educator with a Master’s in Education and a passion for child‑led learning. I am CPR and first aid certified. My professional experience is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, where I honor each child’s voice, curiosity, and right to explore the world around them. I currently support a wonderful family on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. I’m now looking to partner with a family in need of morning care on those days and full day care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With years of teaching experience from PreK through 5th grade, I bring both gentle care and educational insight to every home I serve. Whether we’re discovering nature together or building confidence through play, I offer a calm, respectful presence — along with optional tutoring sessions for families seeking academic support.

“Tierra was one of my son's daycare teachers from when he was five months old until around 14 months old. He absolutely LOVED her, as did all the other children in the class from what I saw. The daycare was right next to my office so I would frequently visit during the day and had the opportunity to see how Tierra interacted with the babies. She was an excellent caretaker, even when the kids were young and not mobile so they required a lot of help. She was also very patient, which is of course necessary when dealing with infants and toddlers but not always easy to do. Better than just being good at caring FOR the babies, she also cared ABOUT them. She had funny nicknames for each child and always knew what to do or say to make them laugh. I would definitely recommend her as a babysitter!!”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
