I played basketball at Morton College and have wrestled since sixth grade, including competing in freestyle wrestling at Fargo and receiving a wrestling scholarship. Outside of sports, I love being outdoors, exploring nature, reading, and singing. I’m also studying Early Childhood Education because I hope to become a teacher one day. I’ve been working with children for almost three years as a kids counselor at my local park district. I spent two years with the Mavericks program, working with K–3rd graders, and this year I work with Trailblazers, working with 3rd–6th graders. I help supervise kids, organize activities, play sports like basketball and soccer, and even help run sports programs at the park district. I am an empty nester and almost of Senior Citizen age. My 5 grown children are 31, 27, 24, 23, 20 and one grandchild 14. I have 10 plus years in healthcare experience that included office, hospital and call center. I love kids and pets and they seem to be put quickly at ease with me.
