Hi! My name is Kyleigh, and I’m a graduate student at North Central College pursuing my Master’s in Occupational Therapy. I have always loved working with children and hope to become a pediatric occupational therapist after graduation. I have experience working with children in a variety of settings. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at an ABA clinic, where I work one-on-one with children with autism and support them as they develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. I absolutely love being able to build relationships with the children I work with and watch their growth and progress! I also previously worked as a Rehabilitation Technician at a rehab hospital, where I gained valuable experience working alongside healthcare professionals and developed skills in patient care, safety, communication, and assisting with daily activities. Because I’m currently in graduate school, I’m looking for babysitting opportunities that allow me to balance my school schedule while continuing to do what I love—working with children! I Would also take them to do outdoor activities such as going to the park, swimming, riding bikes. I also watched triplets and a little girl when i lived in arizona the boys were 4 and the little girl was 6. I would read books to them, We would water pain outside and do learning activities . I moved in to care for my father who had Parkinson's disease in the last years of his life. He was bedridden for last 8 months of his life and myself and oldest daughter were his only caregivers. I've worked with adults with disabilities too. I have had animals all of my life and am able to walk small to medium sized dogs.
