Hello Everyone, My name is Kimberley, and I recently moved to the Saint Louis area to attend graduate school at SIUE in the Art Therapy & Counseling program. Now that my daughter is attending college, I am able to focus on completing my own master’s degree. I spent many years as a volunteer at my daughter’s cooperative preschool and at her elementary school helping in the classroom and on field trips. I also have worked as a nanny for several families as well as providing childcare for other parents at my daughter’s schools. In addition, I have been a YMCA camp counselor and a Big Sister with Big Brother Big Sister Foundation. This semester, I also completed at internship which involved an afterschool program with the students at Bel-Nor and Jefferson Elementary Schools. I also have experience with dog sitting and walking, cat sitting, and caring for a variety of other small pets, as well as plant care and general housesitting. I have my own small dog named, Guac, who is a very important member of my family, and I understand how much our pet friends mean to us. I enjoy spending time with and assisting elderly people and anyone else who needs help with household chores and running errands. I have experience volunteering at St. John’s Adult Daycare in Edwardsville and Collinsville, Illinois, and I will be interning there starting in August of 2024. I have a patient and gentle nature, and truly enjoy working, playing and supporting people of all ages and abilities.
