$23 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Harwood Heights, IL

Hi, my name is Leah, I am a 22 year old college graduate. I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember and I have built on that with real classroom and community experience. I started college career as an Early Childhood Education major at Northern Arizona University, and completed a year and a half of course work. Although I did end up changing my degree focus to political science, the educational foundation has stuck with me. I also worked as an Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School, where I worked with infants to 7 year old children. I supported lesson plans, daily activities, and kept a while prioritizing child safety and development while communicating regularly with parents and administrators. More recently, I worked with Nike Summer Camps at NAU, where I was running marketing and photography but more importantly I was running and supurvising activities everyday. participating with campers everyday. I also volunteered for several years at Mountain Vista in Denver, a Elderly Care home. where I facilitated group activities and helped coordinate events and staffing, especially around busy holiday periods. I am passionate about getting outside, the arts and human connection! I love children and how much they can teach us adults who think we have it all figured out. Letter of Rec can be sent if needed:)

“It was an absolute pleasure having Leah in our home. She established a connection with our children very quickly, all while allowing them to naturally adapt. She kept them active and engaged for the full time she was with us, mostly using imaginative play. Highly recommend. ”

Kiana 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Harwood Heights, IL

I am a nursing student with a background in the medical field as a CNA and have worked as a professional in a hospital setting. I am bubbly, hardworking, reliable and flexible. I would also be willing to help with any household chores, pets, etc.

“Kiana was wonderful. My little one is an average active toddler, yet Kiana was so gentle and patient with him. She read him read books and participated in other activities including meal time. When I came home from work, the house was clean just as I had left it. Which was a shocker because I know with toddlers it seems like you clean up one thing, but they’re into something else😩. But Because the house was clean I was able to really sit and breathe for a second as he napped. Leaving work to do house work is tiresome, so thank you so much Kiana for everything. ”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
