I love children and am a child at heart myself. An artist, I paint, sing in a band, write, and have acted in independent films. I have primarily supported myself as a freelance graphic designer, and have been self-employed for many years, so I have vast experiences being able to handle multiple responsibilities, urgent needs from my clients (in this case, little munchkins), and be cool under pressure. I'm also a mom myself, though my own little munchkins are grown and on their own now (and taller than me!). I am very gentle, organized, and fun and have an empathetic nature. And because I otherwise work freelance, my schedule is flexible. I would so love to help care for kids near me, and would happily lead them in projects, too, or come up with creative ideas on how we could pass the time (aka--not on screens). I have led classes in drawing and painting for both kids and adults for years as well, and would have fun teaching or leading instruction in art-making or crafts (I'm also a crafter--crochet, sewing, weaving, air-dry clay, etc.) I have a cat and have also had dogs, so I'm very comfortable with pet care. Basically, if you have little people in your home--or furry friends, too--I'm here to help!
