Hello! My name is Kayla and I have been in the ABA therapy field for past three years, working in clinic and in home, 1:1 with children on the spectrum. In clinic, I took on a curriculum coordinator position, created specialized courses and curriculums for students and staff designed for multiple age groups and abilities. I am currently in school working on become a pediatric speech therapist and finishing my BS within the next two years! I have had multiple families I would babysit for with children as young as 6 months. I have been involved in children’s ministry and leadership experience in youth ministry. I love laughing and finding joy in all of the small details! I enjoy being outdoors even if it’s for a small walk around the block! Hola! Hi parents and families! I am currently working at a daycare/preschool but am looking to nanny! I have about 3 years of experience, mostly with infants but I have also spent a good amount of time in a toddler and preschool classrooms. Although I may not have a lot of experience with older children, I would love to learn and gain more experience! As well as being an assistant infant teacher, I do love to babysit in my free time, this also includes doing household tasks such as meal prepping, cleaning, and running errands. As I mentioned, I may not be as qualified as others, but I would love to be your nanny/caregiver because I know that I can and will learn about your child(ren), helping them to grow as they help me grow.

I grew up in a big family and always found myself taking care of the younger kids. I am an elementary education major so in high-school I took a preschool class that allowed me to get experience with 3-5 year olds. Then I joined my churches nursery so I got a little over a year of experience with infants and 2-3 with toddlers. I babysit my 3 month old niece often. I work at a daycare where I float around a lot. That has allowed me to have 8 months of experience with all ages up to 4-5. The child’s wellbeing has always been my priority but also making sure they’re having fun. Working at a daycare has also taught me to communicate better with kids and parents. Knowing what helps them when they can’t really speak for themselves or can’t form full sentences. After the daycare I became a director at a summer camp/after school program which gave me experience with ages 5-12.
