For the past three summers I’ve worked as a counselor at a stay-away summer camp where I lived with and cared for kids ages 8–15 for six weeks at a time. Beyond camp and taking care of older kids, I have a lot of experience caring for and babysitting toddlers 13 months and up and love how curious and playful that age is. I bring both structure and fun to every setting whether that means planning crafts, organizing games, or helping with homework. If your kids love video games I can hop into Roblox or Minecraft with them 😆 but I also enjoy screen-free activities like board games, card games, and creative projects. Along with child care I’m terrific at keeping a clean organized home, and I love pets just as much as kids. Growing up with ADHD shaped how I connect with children. I know how important it is to feel accepted and understood, and I make it my mission to ensure every child feels confident and happy being themselves. I also attended a boarding high school for art and creative writing, where I lived year-round. Since I was away from home and living in a dorm, I never needed a license, and now that I live in Chicago I rely on public transportation instead of driving. Sadly I won’t be able to provide transportation for your children.
