Hi, my name is Talia! I'm currently majoring in psychology and minoring in film studies at the University of Cincinnati. My experience ranges from sitting for several notable families over the years (including the son of Scott Devendorf: member of Grammy Award-winning band The National), to more than a year with many great families within Sitting Made Simple, to years and years of working as a mother's helper and babysitter for family and friends. I am the older sister of three fun and unique little siblings and the older cousin of a handful of amazing and adorable little first cousins on my mother's side. My youngest brother has a mild form of Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as ADHD and a couple of mood disorders, so I am comfortable watching children with some special needs. Furthermore, throughout my time babysitting professionally, I have sat for other children with special needs (such as Down Syndrome and a more incapacitating form of Autism Spectrum Disorder). I have experience with children as young as a few months old all the way through older teens with special needs. I really enjoy getting to know and caring for new children--especially babies. I also really enjoy caring for pets while babysitting--I am a big animal person. During my free time, I really enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching films and television shows, listening to music, walking around the city, shopping, traveling, going to concerts and festivals, taking photos, swimming, dancing, going out to eat/for coffee, and educating myself on topics I am interested in (such as pop culture, social issues, politics, fashion, cultural history, etc.)!
