“I was looking for sitter to help with a trip to great wolf lodge that i gave my boys for Christmas. As a single dad and 3 little boys under age of 8 thought it would be helpful to have some help. Plans completely changed and Mercury was very responsive and worked with me and did whatever she could to help as much as she could! She was very friendly to my boys and they attached and liked her very quickly! Really didn't have to explain much of what i needed she jumped right in and felt natural. She even checked in after her shift was over to make sure everything was OK. Will definitely use her again!!!”

Brooke $15 per hour for 1 child

I am finishing up my junior year of college at Kansas State University while majoring in Human Development and Family Science while having a passion for helping others. I have always grown up with a dog and have a very energetic 3 year old wheaten terrier at home when frequent visits from my older siblings cat. I grew up spending lots of time outside playing soccer, going on bike rides, swimming, and playing with neighbors. Last summer I was a part-time caretaker providing safe transportation services for an individual with autism (non-verbal) and being a friendly face for him when he needed a friend. I would love to spend more time with kids exploring their imagination and interest while providing a safe and loving environment for them.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
