Dalya 2 reviews
$26 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Wakefield, MA

Hi everyone! My name is Dalya. I’m a part-time nursing student, licensed EMT, and BLS/CPR-certified caregiver with over three years of childcare experience, including caring for infants and young children. My emergency medical training has prepared me to recognize when something is wrong and respond appropriately in situations such as choking, allergic reactions, falls, or other injuries children are susceptible to. Beyond safety, I’m patient, nurturing, reliable, and genuinely enjoy building meaningful connections with children. I’m comfortable managing feeding, naps, playtime, bedtime routines, meal preparation, and homework. I also have experience tutoring and mentoring students with academics, organization, and college readiness. I enjoy creating activities that are both fun and developmentally appropriate while respecting each family’s routines and parenting preferences. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping, organization, and pet care when needed.

“Dalya worked for our family for over a year and was great with my kids. She helped with meals, school work, activities, bath time and daily routines. One of my children has a disability and takes medication Dalya always followed the instructions carefully and made sure it was given on time. She is very patient dependable and the kids really trust her. She is also an EMT which gave us a lot of peace of mind especially with our youngest. I would highly recommend her to any family.”

Courtney $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Courtney and I’ve always had an affinity for caring for children and creating organized, calm spaces. I worked at a Montessori school for several years in high school, which helped me develop a patient, gentle approach with young kids. I have a playful side, but I’m also very responsible and dependable. I also have two nieces (7 and 3) that I love to see and who keep me up to date on what they’re into haha I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and currently have a cat of my own. I have experience living with and helping care for dogs, including larger breeds like pitbulls, and I’m comfortable with a variety of pets with different temperaments. I’m extremely organized and believe that a clean, efficient household helps families relax and focus on what matters most. kimarah 1 review
$21 per hour for 1 child

My name is Kimarah, and I am a 22-year-old student working toward a career in nursing. I am passionate about supporting children and helping them grow and thrive in a variety of ways, and I am pleased to offer babysitting services to families in my community. I have several years of experience working with children through babysitting, after-school programs, and summer camps. I have worked with a wide range of age groups, which has helped me develop the skills to connect with children and provide age-appropriate activities that are both engaging and nurturing. I especially enjoy arts and crafts, including activities such as coloring and creating designs with clay—one of my favorite activities to share with children. In addition to direct childcare, I am able to assist with: • Light cleaning • Preparing and providing snacks • Homework help, as needed For the safety and comfort of everyone, please note that I am allergic to cats; however, dogs are okay. I am also CPR certified, as required for professionals working with children, and I am committed to maintaining a safe, caring, and supportive environment for every child in my care.

“I highly recommend Kimarah as a babysitter. She is fun, engaging, and builds strong connections with children of all ages. She is especially skilled at supporting kids with challenging behaviors, handling situations calmly and thoughtfully. She has excellent conflict-resolution skills, is kind and understanding, and knows how to make every child feel seen and valued. She is also very sporty and enjoys playing games and sports with kids, which makes her a dynamic and energetic presence. Children naturally respond to her warmth and guidance, and I am confident she would be a wonderful and reliable babysitter.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
