family advocate with more than five years of experience caring for children in private homes, licensed early-childhood programs, and youth programs. I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary-age children, and families with a wide range of routines and needs.
My childcare background includes feeding, diapering, naps, bedtime routines, school pickup and transitions, imaginative and sensory play, reading, crafts, outdoor activities, meal preparation, and keeping children’s spaces tidy. I’ve also worked as an early-childhood assistant teacher and summer lead teacher, and I’ve coached Girls on the Run.
Families can expect me to be warm, dependable, communicative, and attentive to the individual child. My background in social work, family support, and trauma-informed care has also taught me how important it is to stay calm, respect family routines, and meet children where they are. I’m comfortable supporting neurodivergent children and adapting activities or communication styles when needed.
I enjoy creating evenings that feel fun and relaxed while still keeping routines consistent, whether that means playing outside, doing crafts, reading together, baking, or winding down for bedtime. I’m also comfortable with pets and happy to help with light household tasks related to the children, such as meals, dishes, toys, and cleanup.
I’m currently completing a child-advocacy policy fellowship in Washington, DC, and primarily seek evening and weekend childcare. I genuinely enjoy getting to know families and becoming someone both parents and children can feel comfortable and confident with.
