Hi, I'm Ta'Nia, and I am so excited to meet you! I'm attending college for Nursing and planning on going into NICU when I graduate. I have been a nanny for four years and have worked with newborns to teenagers. I have experience with multiples. I am CPR certified and recertify every year. My favorite children's book is 'Oh the Places You'll Go.' I love being adventurous; a personal goal of mine is to see all 50 states. I have 15 left! I include an outdoor activity whenever I'm watching kiddos. I can't wait to meet your family!

“Ta’Nia was an exceptional sitter. Responsible, caring, fun, organized. She’s great at keeping the kids on a schedule, doing a variety of activities, and developing a strong relationship with them. She’s fantastic. 10000% recommend.”

Booked by 7 families in College Park, MD

I'm a graduate student currently pursuing a master's in social work. I was a sitter and nanny throughout high school and college. More recently I have returned to working in childcare in a more formal setting as I work towards my degree. For the past year, I was a clinical social work intern at an elementary school in Montgomery County, MD providing child play therapy to students ages 5-11 with a variety of support needs. Prior to that, I worked at Horton's Kids, a non-profit in Southeast DC providing after school programming and supports to families in the neighborhood. I assisted with after school enrichment programs and also worked directly with students K-8 on social and emotional learning. I am looking for occasional and part time work and have a flexible schedule, especially on weekends. I am happy to answer any questions and provide references upon request!

“What a Lifesaver! As newbies we were super nervous and really appreciated the quick response for a late night interview on short notice followed by an early morning FaceTime with our 5y.o to prep for after school pick up. Kam took a whole slew of directions with no issue whatsoever. It was pouring so they were stuck indoors but our son was perfectly content kicking it in and made it to Tae Kwon Do on time. We’re all looking forward to booking Kam again!”

Hi! My name is Lily. I am currently in my second year of law school. I am offering occasional and one time childcare and pet care services in the DC/Northern Virginia area. I have been babysitting since I was a teenager. I have taken care of all ages at various times within the past 12 years (babies to middle schoolers). Throughout my college career and the year after graduation, I had several full time nannying jobs at various times. My responsibilities at past jobs have included driving to/from various appointments, school, and after-school activities, helping with homework, and coming up with fun activities on summer and weekend days. I am also Red Cross CPR certified for both infants and children/adults. I also always make sure to clean up after meals, activities, etc. I am comfortable working with families who have pets, and am always happy to help out with them (walk the dog, feed any pets, etc.) as needed! I am experienced with pet-sitting as well. I have a dog at home, and grew up with many pets.

“Lily was great! Our daughter loved hanging out with her.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
