Hey friends! Welcome to my profile 🤗 My name is Stephanie, I am the youngest of 5 and I have 5 dogs! I currently attend Montgomery College, majoring in Environmental Science and Policy and Minor in Environmental Horticulture. I also work for a non-profit called City Blossoms, an organization centered around youth driven gardening🌱 I have a strong background in early childhood education. I studied child development all throughout high school and taught fifth grade science as my senior internship. At the time, I also worked in a private preschool as a teachers aid to toddlers and infants. From 2018 to 2025 I worked at a non-profit called, the Student Conservation Association (SCA), leading youth environmental education programs for youth pre K-12, and restorative conservation projects with high school and young adult teams all across the National Capital Region. In 2023 I was contracted to be the Houston Community Program Coordinator. This position gave me the opportunity to work with schools, helping them plan and build their schools community garden and led lessons on food sovereignty in Houston, Texas. To add to my childcare experience, I also nannied for my directors daughter when she was just 6 months old at the time and have babysat for the same two families from 2019 to 2023. Aside from childcare, I love spending my time outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and cook for my dog! I look forward to meeting your family🫶🏼 Best, Steph :)

Holly $18 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I am on my third year as a full time elementary school art teacher for AACPS. I teach PreK-5th, though I teach primarily 3rd grade and under. I’m creative and fun. I love working with kids! Before working at AACPS, I worked at a private special education school for two years so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of personalities. I have a BFA in Painting and currently I am working on my teaching license since I am a conditional hire. Before teaching, I worked at M&T bank for two years but I left because banking is not really for me. I am a sensitive and creative soul. Selling credit cards and home equities was not bringing me joy. I am happy to say I have found a lot of fulfillment in working with my students. I also am a huge animal lover! I was a dog walker and animal care taker for Unleashed Baltimore for two years as well. I walked and cared for mostly cats and dogs, but there were a couple birds on the client roster.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
