I’m a single mom with my sweet 10 month old daughter looking for the right family to join us on our journey! By training, I’ve been a naturopathic doctor for the past 6 years. When my husband passed away unexpectedly while I was pregnant with our baby girl, I had to step away from work in order to show up for our daughter in the way I felt she needed. As I’m waiting to feel like we’re both ready for me to return to my career, I’m looking for part-time nanny work to help support the two of us in a way that allows me to be with her. Grief and single motherhood, as difficult as they have been, have opened my heart up to be a more empathetic, more mindful, and more patient human. I’m looking for a family that values a natural, conscious style of caregiving for their child. We are a screen-free, toy-limited, non-toxic family that prioritizes creativity, nature & health. We cook together, spend time outside in the dirt & grass, go on hikes, and read together. My professional background in naturopathic medicine not only certifies me in CPR and basic & naturopathic first aid but also gives me extensive knowledge of nutrition to prepare homemade meals for your child - I believe this niche makes up for my limited paid childcare experience! I’d also be a great fit for a family planning to have a second child that would like their first exposed to a younger baby. My daughter already loves to play with kids! I know how hard it is to leave your child in someone else’s care during such critical years.
