Hello Parents/ Guardians, my name is Italia-Karine (she/her). I am a college student majoring in Early Education Technology and Nursing. Outside of my academic endeavors, I am the eldest child of a migrant family (from Cameroon). My familial life plays a significant role in my ability to care for children and seniors as I've constantly lived and catered towards grandparents, younger siblings, and cousins. On a professional note, I am currently employed as a private educator with an organization. Under this title, I communicate effectively and efficiently between myself, my leader, and the supervisors of the schools I am scheduled to teach in, I create lesson plans for our classroom time, guide school-aged children on the importance of social studies through fun and interactive methods, as well as oversee the safety of the students while they are in my care. I also have a CPR certification and a State-recognized document stating that I am in good standing to care for children ( no abusive record). I speak three languages, English, French, and Spanish. I am exceptionally good at tutoring and helping young children remain engaged in educational tasks ie homework, and studying sight words. I also excel in domestic chores such as cooking healthy meals, cleaning, completing necessary errands, etc. In the past I have volunteered and worked as a health aide. This helps with knowing how to professionally best care for anyone who may be facing a limitation on what they're able to do independently. I have a valid driver's license as well. I am based in the Rockville area of Maryland but I am more than willing to go beyond this to support you and your family. I am also flexible in terms of pricing and time so feel free to inbox based on your situation. I hope my introduction has left a positive impression in your mind! I hope to hear from you soon!

Booked by 2 families in Montgomery Village, MD

Hi everyone, I'm Jessica, a sophomore at college. It's been a few years since I started taking care of kids but for as long as I can remember l've always been like a second mum to my little siblings and cousins while growing up. Not because I didn't have a mum, but because being the eldest daughter it automatically became second nature. I love taking care of kids, watching and helping them grow is such a privilege to me, l'am also aware that it can sometimes get messy so I can help with light house work, laundry and school work if need. l'am more than willing to be a part of your team and I promise to do my best to keep your kids both happy and safe! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them.

“Jessica is great and personable! She was easy to communicate with. Our little one bonded with her immediately and they had a great time together reading books, playing creatively with toys, and also went out for a short walk. We will continue to work with her and also recommend her to others.”

Hello~ My name is MJ, and thank you so much for considering me as a caregiver to your family! I am based in Montgomery County, MD and I have listed my educational background and career for your review - - _________________________________________ Education (High School and College) Thomas Wootton High School 12' Montgomery College 14' (Associate's Degree) University of Baltimore 17' (Bachelor of Science) Career Background Commercial Real Estate (MD/CA) Signed Music Artist in Florida __________________________________________ As a caregiver, I primarily work with parents that need childcare after school, and I have listed different ways I utilize time with children to complete homework and engage in activities that will encourage a healthy balance between work and play! "When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
