Hi My name is Shannon. I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. I've worked with many clients who suffer from Alzheimer's dementia, autism, cancer, surgical recovery, birth, postpartum & stroke. I have experience with medications, exercises, bathing, light housekeeping, errands and outings, medical care & meal prep. Some of the extra things that I have done with past clients are going to farmers market, painting, massaging their feet and legs with olive oil and lavender, exercises, & going to parks. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, nurturing, attentive, fun and friendly. I am a caregiver who goes the extra mile. I have been a long-term caregiver for many clients. I attended UofM and studied Human Biology, Nutrition, and pre-nursing. I have work experience as a midwife and in the surgery department also. Certifications include CPR/ First Aid, CNA, CPT, and CM. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old it’s become my main passion to help families take care of their kids. My responsibilities have included going on walks, crafts, and tutoring.
