Someone who can be an authority, but also a friend or comfort. Children learn not only by lessons but by leading and example. They should have fun, but also learn something new every day. I think the elderly deserve both respect and as much independence as can be given, depending on circumstances. They have lived full lives and have stories to tell and wisdom to give. In caring for seniors it is important to take care of their daily needs, but also listen to their wishes and expectations as well as their stories. In caring for your family members I will strive to achieve the goals and expectations required of the job, but also to go above and beyond what is expected.
