Hi there! I’m Camryn, an experienced nanny looking for job opportunities around the Greensboro area prior to upcoming move! I have experience with multiples in a wide variety of ages, and currently work as a tutor in a public-school setting. I love anything artistic and spend much of my time outside of work creating, reading, writing, exploring nature, or spending time with loved ones! Before this, I worked as a nanny for two families, one full-time and part-time for the other. With this schedule I worked every day of the week, Monday-Friday for one family, Saturday-Sunday for the other. For the C. family (which I worked full-time) I started watching their children when they were 8 months and 12 years old, and continued to work with them until they were 4 and 15! For this family in particular my duties relied a lot on the familial values and structures they had in place, for example, there was a limit on screen time with the kids and a big emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. In addition, this family followed cultural diet structure, involving a lot of plant-based and organic foods for preparation. A lot of my duties revolved around meal preparation and following these dietary restrictions. For the Co. family (part-time) I began staying with their kids at 9 months old and 4 years old, and worked with them until they were 4 years old and 8 years old. A lot of my duties surrounding this position revolved around transportation of the boys, often to and from activities. I also handled making sure the oldest took his medication as prescribed, worked a lot with potty training, explored creative outlets, etc.

I am grad student, former athlete, and board game fanatic. I am happy to drive or pick up kids from activities. I’m game for pretty much anything and would love the chance to get to know your kid(s)!

I'm from a small town in Southeastern Ohio, but I've lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for over 10 years now. At age ten I acquired my Red Cross Babysitting certificate and started babysitting younger kids. As a youth, I was on the swim team, studied multiple different disciplines of dance, was always in plays and helping with the local theater, tutoring at-risk youth, and I delivered newspapers 6 days a week in addition to occasional mowing, raking, and snow shoveling around town and also selling baked goods, saplings, and homemade crafts at the local f Farmers Market. I have been an American Red Cross certified lifeguard and also a swim instructor for the past 14+ years. I have saved hundreds of lives in my role as a lifeguard. In 2018 I was the Head Lifeguard of Sliding Rock in the Pisgah National Forest(Brevard, NC) and saved lives and was in charge of emergency situations, scheduling, and staffing from Memorial day to Labor day. A few years ago I was the aquatics manager at a country club. Years before all that I guarded a very deep 30 acre quarry (7 days a week with 7 other lifeguards) that hosted music festivals every weekend. I am very calm and cognizant in emergency situations and am the kind of nanny that tends to be cautious and preventative in regards to safety. I have spent many years gaining the trust of my students that are learning how to swim. I'm very good with the younger children and beginners; 2-4 year olds are my favorite to teach. I was a nanny for a family for all of 2021. I took care of three girls, ages 4, 7, and 11 years old, three days a week from 7am to 6pm. They also had 3 dogs, a cat, a bunny, a leopard gecko, and 16 chickens. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to continue to work for them after they moved over an hour away. I am still good friends with the family and go visit them at least once or twice a year, and occasionally still house and pet sit for them. I love children(so much so that I still don't have my own yet) and I love animals. I am very detail oriented and have a gift for maintaining many small details, as I've also worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years in addition to my 14+ years in aquatics with at least 9 of those years in aquatics management.
