Vicki $16 per hour for 1 child

I'm the oldest of four and grew up as the family babysitter, mentor, caregiver, and pet sitter. I've cared for my grandmother my whole life, which taught me patience and how to truly look after someone. Professionally, I work as a caregiver/teacher at a child care center, planning daily routines and activities for classrooms of 10-15 kids while tracking their behavior and progress. I also supervised staff at my parents' company, so I know how to stay organized and keep things running smoothly — and yes, I genuinely love to clean! I completed my Psychology degree from UNCG in May, with a strong interest in supporting kids' behavioral and emotional growth.

Andrea $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi my name is Andrea Caring for children is truly my passion. I am a Speech Therapist (Fonoaudióloga) from Colombia, and working with children has been one of the most meaningful parts of my professional and personal life. I have almost four years of experience working with children from infancy to school age, including children with disabilities and developmental conditions, as well as children without medical conditions. My background in speech therapy has given me strong knowledge about child development, communication, language stimulation, and learning through play. I love creating activities that are not only fun but also support children's cognitive, emotional, and language development. I enjoy reading, doing educational games, sensory activities, crafts, and interactive play that helps children grow while having fun. I am patient, loving, and responsible. I truly enjoy spending time with children and learning from them - they teach us something new every day. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and maintaining household rules in a respectful and consistent way. I speak Spanish fluently and I am currently improving my English every day. It brings me so much joy to know that I can support children's development while making them feel safe, loved, and happy.

Camryn $19 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I’m Camryn, an experienced nanny looking for job opportunities around the Greensboro area prior to upcoming move! I have experience with multiples in a wide variety of ages, and currently work as a tutor in a public-school setting. I love anything artistic and spend much of my time outside of work creating, reading, writing, exploring nature, or spending time with loved ones! I am very flexible in terms of availability and responsibilities; I am happy to discuss specifics as needed. I look forward to meeting new potential employers, and I’m excited for the opportunity to work in/create a safe space that inspires curiosity and confidence throughout childhood experiences! Currently, I work with a non-profit in the public school system, as a 3rd grade reading tutor. I have been working with the program since early 2023 and take a lot of pride in what we’ve accomplished! I have worked mainly in one-on-one capacities within this job, allowing for a more individualized intervention approach, but through this I have had many opportunities within the classroom and grade level; I have chaperoned many field trips and proctor every year for end of grade testing. Before this, I worked as a nanny for two families, one full-time and part-time for the other. With this schedule I worked every day of the week, Monday-Friday for one family, Saturday-Sunday for the other. For the C. family (which I worked full-time) I started watching their children when they were 8 months and 12 years old, and continued to work with them until they were 4 and 15! For this family in particular my duties relied a lot on the familial values and structures they had in place, for example, there was a limit on screen time with the kids and a big emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. In addition, this family followed cultural diet structure, involving a lot of plant-based and organic foods for preparation. A lot of my duties revolved around meal preparation and following these dietary restrictions. For the Co. family (part-time) I began staying with their kids at 9 months old and 4 years old, and worked with them until they were 4 years old and 8 years old. A lot of my duties surrounding this position revolved around transportation of the boys, often to and from activities. I also handled making sure the oldest took his medication as prescribed, worked a lot with potty training, explored creative outlets, etc.

Amariyona $14 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Amariyona , I’m 18 years old, and I’m someone who truly loves being around children. Ever since I first started working with kids during my internship at a daycare, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. Being able to help them learn, grow, and feel safe and cared for is something that genuinely makes me happy. I’m currently in college working toward my teaching degree, because I want to make a real difference in children’s lives, both academically and emotionally. I’ve been working with kids for about three years now, and in that time I’ve babysat for many families whenever they needed someone they could trust. I always try to bring a warm, positive, and patient energy so kids feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged to just be themselves. I also take safety very seriously. I have my medical assistant license, I’m CPR certified for both infants and adults, and I have my Stop the Bleed certification. Knowing I have those skills gives me confidence, and it gives families peace of mind knowing their children are in safe hands. Overall, I would describe myself as caring, responsible, and full of positive energy. I love creating fun, safe, and supportive environments where kids can laugh, learn, and just enjoy being kids.

Dream $22 per hour for 1 child

Hey! I’m Dream, and I really enjoy working with kids. I’ve been in early childhood education for three years, and I currently work full-time as a lead teacher at one of the biggest Head Start agencies in North Carolina, so I have lots of hands-on experience caring for and teaching children. I’m also a college student majoring in Early Childhood Education. I’m CPR/First Aid certified and I also have my North Carolina Early Childhood Credential, so I’ve got official training in the basics of caring for little ones. I especially love working with toddlers and preschoolers, helping them grow independence, confidence, and social skills through fun activities and routines. I’m patient and nurturing, but I also bring a playful energy that kids respond to. I make it a point to build trust with both kids and parents, and I focus on keeping every day safe, structured, and full of learning and fun. Please feel free to reach out if you need care during the week. I'll check my schedule and let you know when I'm available.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
