I have been babysitting since high school and have developed a strong, natural connection with children, allowing me to build lasting relationships with both the kids and families I support. I am a very creative person who loves planning fun, engaging activities, and I truly value creating meaningful memories that children will carry with them for a lifetime. Family is everything to me, and I bring that same sense of care and dedication into every home I work in. My experience has helped me become patient, reliable, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. I genuinely love caregiving because I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. I am also a big animal lover—I have two cats at home and a lab in my hometown—so I am very comfortable caring for pets as well. I take pride in being dependable, compassionate, and someone families can truly trust.

“Katie has been an exceptional babysitter for our family, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She cared for our two children (ages 9 and 12) and consistently demonstrated maturity, reliability, and professionalism well beyond her years. Katie regularly picked the kids up from school, drove them safely to after-school activities, and kept everything running smoothly at home. She was punctual, responsible, and communicated clearly — which gave us complete peace of mind. What truly sets Katie apart is the energy and creativity she brings. She doesn’t just “supervise” — she engages. She came up with thoughtful arts and crafts projects, played board games, organized activities, and created a fun, structured environment. The kids genuinely looked forward to spending time with her, and that says everything. Beyond her competence, Katie brought warmth and positivity into our home. She built real rapport with our children while maintaining appropriate boundaries and expectations. We trusted her fully, and she consistently exceeded expectations. Any family would be fortunate to have Katie caring for their children.”

I have 3 and a half years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting. Throughout my time in early childhood education I have developed a passion for not only supporting the children in my care but being a trusted resource for parents to help them feel supported as well. Parenting can be challenging at times, I am a mom myself so I get it! I have experience with making sure children are developing appropriately and meeting milestones. I am CPR and first aid certified and I have taken a training on infant safe sleep. I have also taken college courses for an infant/toddler certificate to further gain knowledge on that age group.

As a nurturing and experienced childcare provider, I'm eager to support your family and ensure your children's well-being. With over eight years of experience, including roles as camp counselor and children's church teacher, I've honed my skills in caring for children of all ages. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creative and imaginative nature, allows me to connect with children and make their days enjoyable and educational. I believe in fostering open communication with parents, providing regular updates and utilizing their preferred communication method to address any concerns or share daily highlights. While I respect and follow the household rules set by parents, I'm also comfortable engaging children in various games and activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional development, such as outdoor sports, board games, and educational games.

Hello, wonderful families! 👋 I’m a bilingual mom of two grown daughters with over 16 years of experience in early childhood and special needs education. My passion is bringing learning to life through play, curiosity, and a bit of magic—just like Ms. Frizzle! I enjoy guiding young children through daily adventures. I’m excited to offer your family a nurturing, playful, and educational environment. I’m also fluent in Spanish and eager to support your child’s bilingual journey. I have early childhood development experience and can help with helping reach age appropriate milestones. I’d love to bring a spark of curiosity and joy to your home. Plus, I’m also available to travel with your family if you need a nanny for a vacation weekend or trip. Let’s make every day a little more magical together! 🌟

“Fancy is THE PERFECT nanny/babysitter/teacher/seriously ALL OF the above! She is a licensed teacher and she has been a nanny with my toddler son since June 2025 when he was 2y.o. until end of Feb 2026 3y.o. She has seen EVERY challenge with him. He was born a micro preemie with developmental delays ranging from speech, OT, PT and feeding and she has literally helped him grow leaps and bounds through it all! This is not an exaggeration. We love Fancy so much (and all of our therapists see why!) and the only reason she isn't with our son anymore is because he is old enough now to be encouraged to go to daycare and be in an environment with children since he doesn't have that otherwise. It was really difficult for us to part ways (but she will always be the ideal person we contact for any day or night we need someone to watch him). She is worth more than her rates. Truly. You won't be disappointed because she is such a bright ray of light and your child will FEEL that warmth from her. She would be like the favorite teacher your child will never forget. She is for my son. Such a wonderful person inside and out. Always communicative and punctual. Respectful, flexible, and transparent. LOVE her. ”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
