Hi there! My name is Cynthia, and I’m a caring, reliable, and patient babysitter who truly enjoys spending time with children. I believe in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can learn, laugh, and feel comfortable. I have experience caring for children of different ages — from toddlers to school-aged kids — and I always make sure to keep things engaging with activities like crafts, games, outdoor play, and story time. I’m also comfortable with light meal prep, bedtime routines, and helping with homework when needed.

I've been working in childcare since 2001, with ages from neonatal to up to 14 years old. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, and have worked alongside industry leaders such as The Goddard School, Montessori, and Primrose. I've enjoyed working with families of all cultures and different languages, which has enabled me to further develop my childcare methods. I aim to stimulate their imagination, influencing them to take on tangible hands-on projects and watching their creativity flow! Painting is one of my favorite activities, alongside reading. I've found it very productive and beneficial to work with an "open door policy" to best align parents' wants and child's needs into our curriculum!

I have 8+ years tutoring school-age children, communicating with families, and ensuring everyone is on the same page. Child safety and wellbeing is my top priority. I am a first-generation undergraduate student studying Engineering and I have an extensive research background in mental health, effective strategies for child and adolescent learning, and social emotional learning.

I have experience caring for children primarily between ages 2-12. My service and focus is based on keeping your child safe & happy but with my background in education I always incorporate learning into every activity and task. I believe each moment is an opportunity to learn. I believe in teaching and working with the child’s abilities and helping support their development. Since I was a junior in high school l've been in childcare. First I started off by babysitting my neighbors and family friends, then when I graduated college I worked at the YMCA aftercare program. l've also been a cheer coach and a gymnastics coach for ages 2-10. I grew up with 2 younger siblings so I’ve always been a very patient and kind person. I’m also CPR/AED certified. Thank you!!
