Hi! My name is Sherlyne, and I’m a dependable, responsible caregiver with a background in psychology and law. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Juris Doctor, and I’m currently taking a planned break from my professional work, which allows me to dedicate focused time and energy to childcare. I am a prospective medical student with a masters in biomedical sciences and about 5 years of healthcare experience working with patients of all ages and demographics. I’ve done rotations at hospitals that focused on working with children with developmental disabilities and as a result have developed the skill set to handle children with care, encourage growth and provide a safe, healthy and productive space for them. I have my own little rescue kitty named Olive that made her place in our family but I love all kinds of animals and look forward to adopting a dog soon! Outside of my work, I am a very outdoorsy person, often swimming, biking, running and hiking on the weekends- my coolest hike has been to Machu Picchu, Peru. I’m able to work with children and pets of all energy levels and would love to indulge them in activities if required.
