I'm Margo - a mom of 3 adult kids, and I owned, operated & successfully managed a home childcare "business" for 15+ years. While it was technically a business, to me it was building an extension of my own family. I built a strong reputation & client base & consistently had a steady waitlist, and I am still in touch with all of my families to this day. Unfortunately, Covid shut it down & now I'm ready to begin my next chapter on a smaller scale as a nanny in a family's home! I have so much to offer & I'm excited to get started! I am a fun-loving, positive, energetic, warm, upbeat, reliable, resourceful, dedicated, nurturing & patient caregiver. I am great with kids (and people) of all ages 0-100! I always maintain open communication with parents. It is super important to me to keep communication open so we can work together to allow your child to grow & develop at their own pace, and so your child can feel secure in knowing they have a village of people who love them very much. I engage kids & babies of all ages with games, puzzles, music, play & crafts; organize age-appropriate activities that develop physical, emotional & social growth; and spark creativity by helping little ones discover new things each day. We do all this while having fun! For the not-so-fun moments that come along with child care, I am warm, loving, patient, nurturing, and calming. I also have my own templates for daily activity, nap, diaper/potty, meal & behavior reports that can be sent to you if you'd like. Hi! I'm Stephanie. I have worked with children of various ages as a substitute teacher. I especially enjoyed working in the baby room (younger than 1 year old). I had babysat for some parents from the school after they saw how their children took a liking to me. During the year I worked as a substitute teacher, I received a teacher of the month award, which was a wonderful honor. I consider myself to be gentle and rather soft spoken at times. Everything I do is done with love, care, and respect to the best of my ability. My goal is to bring more joy, peace, and ease to the children, parents, and homes I attend. I thoroughly enjoy making kids laugh and doing creative projects with them. I am diligent and do my best to clean up after any messes made. I prefer having clear and concise guidelines, as communication is always key. The kind of pets I have experience working with are rabbits, cats, and dogs. I am mother of two aswell. I am very dedicated and reliable. I enjoy being around kids, coming from working in a daycare for 5years in new york where i began i can continue the child care here in new jersey. My kids are a young 7year old girl and 2 year old boy they have very different characters this has also helped me learn different emotions.
