Hi all, I am 28, and have been working at the New York Times for the last 3.5 years. Before that, I was working at the Bronx documentary center as a teacher, and before that at ICP as a teachers assistant. I babysat / nanny’d throughout all of my high school years. I am currently in pursuit of my MFA, which is why I am looking for a nanny-ing job. I am interested in both part time and full time. I live in Brooklyn, in Park Slope in the chiclet mansion with my boyfriend and two cats.
Hi! My name is Naomi, and I an experienced, creative, and warm sitter. I’m looking for a part time babysitting role, ideally 20-25 hrs a week. I work well with kids who are curious, passionate, and ask a lot of questions! I started babysitting as a high school freshman, and I continue to do it because I love kids! I love teaching them how the world works. I taught English to elementary school kids in Spain, and when I returned I worked as a math tutor. I’m very punctual, and a great cook! In my free time I’m a writer and visual artist!

"Johanna is AMAZING! My two boys love her - she does everything from amazing arts & crafts, to helping with homework, to getting them playing outside! She also drives them and does everything involved with after school activities: packing snacks, getting the right gear, etc."

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
Milena L., mom of two
"Caitlin has been such a lifesaver for our family. We hired Caitlin to help with the after school routine. The kids took to her instantly. She does it all - school pick ups, dinners, baths, lunch making, clean up, etc. She has really helped make a busy time so much easier for us."
Heather B., mom of two
